RE: Piglet (film): Absolutely awful... I can't believe it was even made

excellent response from you as usual. While I wouldn't waste any time looking for this film if you are bored one day and want to just stand back in awe at some of the shite that gets money thrown at it.. well, this is that sort of movie.

And of course the useless security guard was "top heavy".... I'm pretty sure that was a requirement for her employment.

In a strange kind of way, your review made me want to watch it. It sounds like a good laugh!

Then I watched the trailer and saw that it takes itself seriously. So I’m inclined to think that there are better things that I can do with my time! (Like watch continuum season4 😊)

You made the correct choice. There was a film made in a similar style to this one that you may have seen called Dave and someone vs. Evil that was pretty fantastic, but with good writing and original ideas.

Horror isn't really my genre... They're either too predictable (which makes them annoying or laughable) or try to be too gory (e.g. the Saw franchise).

Gore for the sake of gore when it is done in a humorous and intentionally over-the-top fashion such as the ending of "the Substance" or basically anything "Evil Dead" related is fine, and the gore in "Saw" was nice and really well-executed until they made 37 of them. Horror is a tough genre to pull off in an innovative and interesting way. "Smile" did a pretty good job of it.

It's been a long time since I watched any of them but I vaguely recall enjoying 1 and 2 but when it came to Saw 3, it went too far.
