I just watched the latest episode last night, but no spoilers, promise! :)))
Of course, that chain of events you describe was all a plot but some episodes really puzzle me, as we all know what's the target group of viewers and why those in charge of the script try to draft plots that are so sophisticated? :D
True, watching the next episodes I could tell the plot is creative and probably one of its own but I'm not convinced it's brilliant :D

Oh, that guy was always going to die. It was just a question of how long they'd drag it out for. As much as I love it, some things are remarkably predictable.
Although I don't know how Reacher's going to take out Paulie. With all of the build up, he'll probably just shoot him (like that scene in Indiana Jones)!

Oh, that was so awful. Her efforts at “angry” are so bad. I think that’s what’s ruining her character - the sudden mood swings to mock anger just aren’t even remotely convincing. The emotion is just all wrong.

I think what I miss at that point is an antagonist kickass-lady character :) Someone in slim black latex, please :DDD I doubt the writers would miss to monetize a proper girl-fight :D
Imagine that... and all Paulie wants to do is take out Quinn too. But before that can happen, Paulie and Reacher need to have a fight to see who fights Quinn.
I think I just love everything about the character (Reacher) that they'd have to do a lot to lose me. I'm not keen on the people he's teamed up with in this season - the female cop is just so unconvincing and I find her sudden bursts of rage laughable. Then the rookie "oh, he wants to do some shooting practise, is it ok if I untie him and give him my gun?" is just so stupid that it's annoying.
I think most of the bad guys are good and the kitchen lady is providing a few nice moments too.
I guess if they got some of the supporting roles right - like they did in Seasons 1 and 2, I think you'd be convinced 😉

Come to mention it - do you have some experience with graphic design? I'm wondering if there are some fairly easy design tweaks that will make a big difference to the feel of the page?
I am just holding my breath for the moment his character is going to boinc her, pardon my French :D (similar to the previous season), I think that's a development we all could predict, right? :D

I am proficient with Adobe Lightroom and let's say I've got basic-to-intermediate knowledge of Photoshop, my main area of expertise is Photography and that is just slightly touching the area of Design.
I used to work as a full-stack developer more than a decade ago, so I'd say I'm more confident with HTML & JavaScript than Design...

There is one UI feature that would make a big positive change, IMHO.
The preview - it's currently below the editing area and if it could go to the right-hand side, that would be awesome. This will allow the content creator to check out their changes instantly, instead of having to scroll down the whole page then up again for the next changes.
With longer posts, this would be a game changer. ;)
I believe same applies to the comment textarea. Seems to me if its width is decreased by 25-30% the preview could fit right next to its right-hand side.

Goodness - you don't ask for much 🤣 I agree with you though and I think Blurt or Peakd might offer this feature. That's a tricky one, for sure!

You're right about blurt.blog and peakd, I checked them out earlier today - they both have preview at the right-hand side.
Here is another feature of blurt.blog I like a lot that steemit.com doesn't have - I can see the weights and values of the votes in the feed, no need to enter a specific post or comment. That's quite handy, right ;)

I've put an initial plan in my proposal post - but I did that last year and things changed extremely quickly. GitHub is a good way to log issues and has also been used for feature requests in the past to could be a good way of keeping track of your wish-list 😉
