favourite form to read....

How to read. I know. I can't recall I ever read a book, I might since I did exam and for each language it's required to read a certain amount of books. Don't ask me which one. I passed, never failed a year and was an early student, a very early one. I might have remembered it or made up whatever was asked.
I don't read newspapers, never did, once in a while I read the sudoku or puzzle in the magazine that the supermarket gives for free, and my mom takes along. I fill something out if it catches my eye, she does or finishes it. It's a once-a-month adventure. I guess I read that. I don't read if I watch youtube or films, no subtitles. I did translate/transcribe YouTube videos for an American company. It was a job like no other. I left as the new manager stole my work. I never read the subtitles that came along with films (Disney) at a certain point, we simply played it in different languages.
I rarely read manuals, it's too much trouble (sorry, to the one who put effort in writing them, most likely no one today). I read the texts that game along with games, most likely a big push if it comes to learning languages. Are those who never read dumb, worse if it comes to reading? I doubt it. I can't tell if reading makes you smarter. There are many illiterates who are very intelligent. It depends on what you call intelligent. People learn in different ways. Mine was not through reading books, perhaps it was thanks to all the story times and films I watched.
