“A universal law tells us that everything that happens is cause and effect; it is easy to conceive of life this way, as this idea makes us understand that everything that happens is caused by something. However, it seems to me that this does not quite fit when explaining the events that have occurred in my life; it leaves too much room for chance. Moreover, it applies better when we analyze everything on a large scale and not individually.”

"Life is complex, something that is often emphasized; and yes, it is true that it is biologically speaking, but it is not in the way we write our own story and live this life that we have been given. That is so simple that if I had to simplify it to a single word, I would choose 'decisions.' Yes, I think that's the word that fits best; our whole life is made up of a network of decisions."

“I was conceived because my father and mother decided to sleep together. I came into this world because she decided to have me. I grew up and was educated because they decided to raise me and not let me be illiterate. As a child, my decisions were guided by them: their decision... their responsibility.”

“Now that I am an adult, those decisions are mine alone: my responsibility. The job I chose, my partner, and the family I decided to start are all part of that set of decisions that led my life down the path it is on, the path I am traveling.”

"If someone gets drunk, drives, and then has an accident, without detracting from the physical cause, we should not directly blame the law of cause and effect; it is easier to simplify it as a product of their decisions. Just as if I board a plane and, unfortunately, it crashes due to mechanical failure and I die in the accident, in the end, regardless of other factors, I will die only because it was my decision to board that plane... as I see it, everything that happens to us is because of that."

“If I had decided to have my car serviced when the mechanic recommended it, I wouldn't be walking along this road looking for help right now... even that is part of that network of decisions that we sometimes make and sometimes omit... I think I still have a long way to go, a lot to think about... it will be dark soon. Our lives are full of so much irony.”

¡Saludos amigo!🤗

You never know in advance if that mechanic would have fixed the job. if we say 'als/as' is what is left if you burn something.
