Volunteer jobs taxed? How to? Friends from Italy are informing about Facebook activities (considering Facebook doesn't pay its users) will soon need a VAT opened, probably, but volunteer? Imagining the usual garbage coming from Bruxelles...
Ps.: in any way, in my country, the true big deal isn't exactly taxes, but the very cumbersome bureaucracy, often resulting impossible to fulfil. The consequences of bureaucracy not fullfilled may mean even trial and prison
The problem with bureaucracy is not only it takes long but also most of us have no clue what to do. It's not just about filling out an easy form.
No easy form at all. People not very good with maths and other technical subjects having to do with calculating, numbers and similar stuff must pay tons of accountant fees (but a lot of times, even accountants get lost among such a cumbersome bureaucracy, especially in front of laws that conflict one another) or wait R.S.I. summons.
