I bought 24 cuail eggs that were supposedly fertilized. I think I was scammed. I believe this because the eggs I have collected from my quail, when I had them in my cages, I knew they were fertile because they had their males with them. I had a lot of them hatching at one time.
Now I am giving these eggs time to hatch but I think I was scammed. I don't know anyone who sells eggs around here in my area.
Eggs in the butts of quail are easy to check. Their butts get really big when they already have an egg waiting to lay.

Each male needs 4 to 5 females to be happy, otherwise he will fight with the other male for his females.

I have nowhere to get fertile eggs from, I no longer have quail layers.
