RE: My entry to: Contest 4.44 Looking Back/Looking Ahead #ccc
Yes, dear wakeupkitty, my son is still studying, finishing his thesis and working in the daytime. When he gets his biweekly paycheck he invites me to eat something delicious. I was not able to celebrate my birthday because by the time we had it, I had vertiginosis. So he invited me to that meal.
We pay for the food when we order it and then they send it with a motorized vehicle. It still arrives hot.
We paid with our debit card using a simple system.
In fact my son has a cubicle here at home that I set up for him as his studio, so he also has his studio and I have my office almost completely set up but it is very good for my patients. With living room, patient care room, bathrooms, assistant who helps me in the waiting room, air conditioning and the computer that my son gave me with instrumental music.
I am not complaining, little by little I have been getting good amenities again.
The plastic bottles are of much use here. I recycle them for my plants and they also serve to make a glue for pipes or roofs.
You two achieved a lot I am surprised how much. Feels as if it's a long time ago you baked cookies and muffins to earn extra.
I'm so glad to hear you can practice your job again. Your office sounds great and with it you can help many people.
You and your son are clearly still a team which is precious.
I do not have much plastic bottles. Do you reuse the 1 and 2 litres for the plants too or only bigger ones?
I saw a video about tomatoplants potted in 5 litres bottles hanging upside down. It looks interesting. I would like to try that if my plants grow at all. It's cold again and it rained a lot. My rain/watter barrel overflow yesterday. Will see if I can find another one.
All the best, luck and love to you.

Yes, my friend, my son always tells me that we are a good team and that he will never leave me aside. I just tell him to wait for tomorrow and in the meantime enjoy today.
I recycle everything plastic. I use the 1 and 2 liter bottles as seedbeds by cutting them in half and as pots by cutting them only 10 cm from the bottom.
I have seen those videos of tomatoes growing downwards and I don't know where it will be because my plants grow and bend looking for the sun. I don't think if I plant them down they will go to the same place.
Rain water is important for the plants, how they grow when water falls from the sky!
I think the tomato planted upside down grows up to the light. Saw how cucumber was planted in a bottle and the bottle partly in the earth.
What I find tricky is how to pull the plant through the opening of the bottle.
You cut the 1-2 litres bottles horizontal?
If I see all those videos about what people do with plastic bottles it's hard to believe there's so much trash.
I noticed too rain water does plants good even if it looks as if it's too much.
Yes, exactly horizontally and also vertically for long and short pots.
