I can't decide!

From Contest
Life makes daily decisions clash. I'm trying to scrape together money to buy quality rubber shoes, but when I get to the quantity, other needs arise. Health comes first, I know, but now I have to buy: two rods and ceramics for remodeling. Everything costs the same. What do I do? What do I buy? Help.

This is my entry in the weekly contest sponsored by @wakeupkitty in the CCC community.
I invite to @yokondap and @arpege

Greetings friend.
Our needs will always be needs, some may seem more important than others, and of course, in the life of the worker is like that, we save with effort for something and just something unforeseen comes up, and well, something that happens all the time, especially if we have a car .... Believe me, it seems to me that they have their own feelings and they propose themselves just at that moment.
Amiga you have to evaluate the following points:
Are the shoes because we want a new pair, because we liked them? Or do we need them because the current ones have outlived their useful life and need to be replaced? You can't go barefoot to buy ceramics.
Doing that evaluation, you will know well what is more of a priority. Ceramics is something that does not get damaged, as long as we keep it well and nothing else breaks. If we choose a common color, we can go buying them little by little... Now if it is porcelain tile, the story is different, because apart from being more expensive, sometimes you can't get the same type to buy it separately.
But anyway, I hope this helps you to think a little my dear friend.
Blessings.

Thank you very much for this comprehensive overview of the unknowns that may arise. Well, I'll tell you this.
My rubber shoes let me down. They were damaged with a large crack on the side of the sole during my last walk. I want to buy some that are brand name or durable for my walks. When I manage to save up the money and am happy about it, something new comes up.
The man who is remodeling my workplace tells me that he is about to finish and that now we have to buy the rods to make the bars for a window and, at the same time, the tiles for the bathroom. When I do the budget, the two things come out to the same price.
I don't have rubber shoes to go walking in the afternoons. I also don't want to put the worker's job on hold.
I think that since I haven't gone for a walk in the afternoons for three months, I should keep waiting and buy the tiles and rebar. I think that's best. I don't know. Doubts in my brain.
Amiga, walking helps your health, it brings many benefits. I don't think it's a good idea to stop walking. In any case, the material is necessary because the construction is in progress and stopping it is not good either.
I'll tell you what I would do, my friend:
I would buy the building material, but I would try to save costs, maybe going to several places, or locating someone who would do me the favor of bringing it to me and save me the freight.
There are very cheap shoes, they are not durable, but think about it, at least you won't stop walking, which is a gain for your health.
Life often puts us in situations where we have to choose between equally important needs Health and comfort are priceless, but home improvements can also bring long-term benefits My suggestion is to prioritize based on urgency if your current shoes are causing discomfort or affecting your health, that might come first If the remodeling is urgent for safety or functionality, then address that Sometimes, breaking big purchases into smaller steps can help ease the burden Stay strong, you’re making wise decisions just by thinking it through

Now a third point has been added. So these two things that were keeping me in suspense have both taken a back seat. I had to spend my money on something more urgent.
Hola amiga yo compraría la cerámica para remodelación.
Si, creo que es más importante. Gracias amiga.
I think a good pair of shoes is very important
Everything seems important to me, but now I have encountered a third problem that wasn't there before. This makes the previous alternative seem less important.
This kind of things always happens. You will need to re-evaluate the priorities all over again
The truth is that I already spent the money I had, because the new situation was an emergency and couldn't wait. So everything else has been put on hold.
Changes in life happen so quickly that it's not worth dwelling on a single thought, waiting to see what to do. The very evolution of life in continuity takes care of fixing it.
I fixed the emergency problem. I no longer have to halt construction because something went wrong and they have to restore a wall with its window, so the purchase of the rebar can wait until my next savings.
As for the shoes, my son has told me that he will give me money on his next payday so I can buy them.
Everything has been resolved for the time being.
I suggest you, don't just track the numbers. Real value shows up when you see more. That is how good work becomes great.
