This week's contest theme is: “Let's talk about creating a story.”
“Let's talk about...” takes place every week with different themes. It consists of making a creative post; you can write a personal story about the theme.
In addition to posting about the topic, you should try to communicate with other users. Make interesting comments so that everyone gets involved in the responses. Just saying “thank you” is not enough; it cuts off communication.
Follow a thread of comments, focusing on what you like most about the other participating user. Don't forget this point: the more you comment, the more chances you have of winning this contest. Making interesting comments encourages other commenters to participate.
This week, let's talk about a story... Tell us about a story you liked, whether it's imaginary, fictional, etc, a story you saw on TV, in the movies, in your family, or among your neighbors. A story from when you were a child and they told you stories, if that's not your case. Tell us about a story you've been told or one you've experienced.
Free your mind! The more original you are, the more points you will earn.
This contest is about creativity, not whether things are true, real, or probable for someone. Bring out the creative and fun writer in you.
The post must contain at least 150 words and any photos you want. They can be your own photos or photos from websites allowed on the platform, free of copyright. (Pixabay, for example.)

No one ever read me stories when I was a child, but I had a vivid imagination. I remember sitting down with my siblings in the afternoons to watch children's programs.
Back then, they used to show movies about Zorro, a masked hero who emerged on the Mexican border with the United States, in Baja California. As a child, I didn't understand what it meant to be a country in revolution or a country with conquering soldiers. What I did understand was that the masked man was fighting for his oppressed people and that the king's soldiers only wanted slaves and subjects.
Of course, my brothers and I were on Zorro's side, and when he fought in his costume and mask, my brothers and I would get excited. We would jump out of our chairs and cheer Zorro on to victory.
Those were delightful times; there weren't many responsibilities at home. We only had to study and run errands. And in the evenings at 6 p.m., we watched episodes of Zorro.
The best part was that my mind retained the best parts and created different plots for each episode. I also learned to change the plots of all the children's stories.
When I was older, I would tell my nephews and nieces stories I had created myself, based on many existing stories.

Esta semana hablemos sobre una historia… Se trata de que relates una historia que te haya gustado, imaginaria, ficticia, etc… una historia que hayas visto en la televisión , en el cine, en tu familia, en tus vecinos. Una historia de cuando eras niño y te contaban cuentos, si no es tu caso. Háblanos sobre una historia que te hayan contado o que hayas vivido.

Nunca tuve quien me leyera un cuento en mi infancia, pero sí tenia mucha imaginación. Recuerdo que en las tardes me sentaba junto con mis hermanos a ver la programación infantil.
En ese entonces pasaban en la tv películas sobre el Zorro, un héroe enmascarado que surgió en las fronteras mexicanas con estados Unidos, en la baja California. En mi niñez no sabía a que se refería eso de un país en revolución y un país con soldados conquistadores. Lo que sí entendía era que el disfrazado luchaba por su pueblo oprimido y los soldados del rey solo querían tener esclavos y súbditos.
Por supuesto mis hermanos y yo estábamos a favor del zorro y cuando peleaba con su disfraz y su antifaz puesto, mis hermanos y yo nos alborotábamos. Nos incorporábamos de las sillas y le dábamos fuerza a el Zorro para que ganara la contienda.
Eran unos tiempos muy deliciosos, no había mucha responsabilidad en casa. Sólo debíamos estudiar y hacer mandados. Y en las tardes a las 6 pm, ver los capítulos del Zorro.
Lo mejor de todo es que mi mente se quedaba con lo mejor y hacía tramas diferentes para cada episodio. Así mismo aprendí a cambiarle la trama a todos los cuentos infantiles.
Cuando fui adulta mayor, le contaba a mis sobrinos cuentos creados por mí, a través de muchos cuentos ya hechos.

¡Ay amiga, aquellos tiempos! Son recuerdos inolvidables que agrandan el corazón. Yo me imaginaba tantas historias con esos capítulos. Junto a mis dos hermanos menores, en el patio grande de mi casa de la niñez, hacíamos recreaciones de muchas historias.

En relación al zorro , ver esta película te ayuda a ampliar tu imaginación ..En la actualidad , los juegos de los niños se basan en la tecnología , lo malo es que muchos de estos juegos son bastante agresivos , así que su imaginación , su inteligencia se incrementan , pero también su agresividad que por cierto la usan en contra de sus padres , hay que ver los niños pequeños casi golpeando a sus padres y estos NO hacen nada .

En la actualidad los padres suelen ser muy permisivos, por lo de las generaciones cristal y todo esto.
El zorro para mi fue una de esas series que me dejaban mucho a la imaginación. Formaba parte de una de las tantas series que aprendí a ver, sin buscar el sentido oculto de su creación. Ahora todo lo explican bajo otra lupa que yo nunca imaginé.
Espero ver tu creación inspiradora.

“Zorro” was the first word I wrote, even when I didn't know how to do it, but I saw it so much in the TV series that my relatives enjoyed when I was a kid, the one that was in black and white, that I always saw the word in the intro and I learned to write it by imitation, something I never forgot, because although it seems simple, for me it is significant.

I was so hooked on these episodes that my siblings and I would make sure we finished all our chores so we could watch the whole episode.
Nothing we remember fondly can be considered simple. I met a 5-year-old boy who learned to write by writing down all the words he saw on the street when he went out with his parents. If you learned to write the word Zorro, that's commendable.
