It's raining, not that I don't like to feel the rain, I love it. My plants appreciate it, but these are not usual rains. They are rains caused by tropical waves that are coming from the Atlantic air currents. They are causing a lot of havoc in cities in my country. floods, material and human losses.

Your reflection really touched me. Rain can be such a blessing, especially for our plants and the land, but when it becomes destructive, it’s heartbreaking. I’m so sorry to hear about the floods and losses in your country. Praying for safety and recovery for everyone affected. Stay safe. 🌧💛

Thank you very much for your words, that's how you put it. The rains are a blessing when they fall calmly and at a good pace. When they do it with such fury, as is happening in many of our cities, the disasters we are seeing in the news occur. May God protect our country from the inclement weather.

Me encantó leerte.

The worst part of the case is that these extreme weather changes are affecting the most vulnerable population, children, the elderly and the most debilitated with chronic diseases. It also opens the door for more foreign pathologies to enter our country.

That's right, my friend, that's the most terrible thing.

Saludos, @gertu.

It seems that in these modern times, nothing is normal or natural; and what you describe about the climate, rainfall, and its effects in various parts of the world is nothing more than the harvest we humans have sown.

Greetings, @gertu.

Indeed, I cannot deny his opinion because we are digging our own grave. Every day we do our bit to do everything wrong. We ignore the forecasts for the near future and the suggestions to avoid the coming catastrophe.
We deserve a prize for stubbornness and delusion.
In this case it comes well to remember the phrase that says: “we get what we deserve.”

Very grateful for the support.

I always wonder why people tend to live in places where nature reigns and next complain. Is it possible nature damages?
But what do I know living in a country underneath sea level 😥

That's the same question I'm asking myself. In my country many works are built without taking into account, friend or foe, which can be nature.

My country has many regions below the level of sea. But most of the geographical areas are above this level. We even have areas that are flat and yet they are above sea level, there are only very fast-flowing rivers.

The region that is being devastated by the rise of the rivers, today, is surrounding the Bolivar peak, at almost 5 thousand meters, the highest in the world. The whole place is in the highest mountainous area above sea level. It is not the height, it is the flow of the rivers. All that water flow is taking whatever it finds in its path. The houses are built at the foot of the mountains and in the same mountains of the Venezuelan Andes, it is mountain range. This is where most of the country's vegetable growers live.
I do not blame nature, she does what man has brought about with his bad ingenuity. But even with all that, I cannot stop expressing my pain for so much tragedy.
