My house is totally enclosed, with no windows for air to circulate. Only one main door. The heat builds up inside, because I only counted on turning on my air conditioner all the time. Today I plan to destroy some walls to make two windows, because the heat will always be there.

I remember the air conditioning at that old place needed a lot of repair because it worked too hard in that hot room. Windows would be good for circulation. I recall reading somewhere that one needs to open windows in different directions for air to pass through effectively. Now, I open the kitchen window and the balcony door, using a table fan to move the air out, especially when cooking smells linger in the house.
