We too are hopeful that it will be fixed soon. Neither the fans nor the ventilators can give us a cool breeze, because the house is too hot inside.

My house is totally enclosed, with no windows for air to circulate. Only one main door. The heat builds up inside, because I only counted on turning on my air conditioner all the time. Today I plan to destroy some walls to make two windows, because the heat will always be there.

I recall reading somewhere that one needs to open windows in different directions for air to pass through effectively. Now, I open the kitchen window and the balcony door, using a table fan to move the air out, especially when cooking smells linger in the house.
