A Day of Comics, Errands, Nature, and Art

in CCC4 days ago

Today was a great day, filled with a mix of indoor activities and necessary outdoor movements!

Morning: Comics, Exercise & Fuel Run

My morning started off well as I had fun finishing "The Tomb Raider King" comic book – always satisfying to wrap up a series! I then managed to squeeze in some home exercises, getting my body moving.

However, a more pressing issue arose: our solar battery was still down due to the heavy rains over the past few days. My brother was deep into a project and getting increasingly frustrated by the low battery alarm constantly interrupting his work. So, he sent me out on an urgent mission to buy fuel. I walked a short distance to get it, but because of the urgency, I wasn't able to think about extending my walk much.

Afternoon: Backyard Nature & Art Creation

After the fuel run, I ventured into our backyard to check out the works of nature. It's become a bit more bushy lately, and with the landlord being a bit of a pain, we've minimized our activities there. We're just patiently waiting for the harvest time for our one-and-a-half-month-old potatoes and some corn. I even managed to take a video of a beautiful butterfly, which was really nice to watch, though I was sneezing a bit from the cold!!

Following my nature visit, I decided to focus on my creative side. I spent time creating art for my next NFT, and I'm really pleased with how beautiful it turned out! It will be featured in one of my upcoming posts once it's been minted.

Evening: Night Walk & Thoughts on Power

This evening, I went out for another errand and really enjoyed the walk and the fresh view. As I was looking up, I noticed a strange red hue in the sky, which made me wonder what it was, especially since the sun should have been in the opposite direction. "Maybe someone's burning a big bush," I thought. Soon after, the public electricity came on, and I heard the usual shouts of "Up NEPA!" from people. Honestly, I'm not that enthusiastic about it myself, mainly because my PC is spoilt, and that's really hurting me more than anything. I always have to use my brother's PC for line art, and while my phone suffices for coloring to some extent, it's not the same.

Despite the PC woes, I truly enjoyed the great night walk and capturing various insects (mentally, it seems, or maybe you meant earlier in the day if you captured actual photos of them). All in all, I'm thankful for another day.

😒 Those NEPA took the electricity when I just wanted to post, I'm seriously angry at those guys.
