I must admit that there are indeed curators who choose a content to be a selected category based on friendships in a country or how often they gather together to sit around and relax while drinking coffee.

I often find these things, and I say this specifically for curators from the country. I also often find curators giving selected categories to beautiful female users, if I ask them why should it be done like that? They easily answer if you want to be like that then apply to be a curator.

During my time with the Steemit Platform, all of my content that was selected as a selected category was given by friends from abroad that I did not know. never once has my content been selected by a curator from my country.
