Curator Activity Summary

This week, in accordance with the curation guidelines, we continued to curate posts under the #cryptidhunter tag using the Booming02 account.

We provided guidance to newly joined users to help them network within the community, and observed that several of them are actively engaging by leaving comments on most posts. This reflects an encouraging level of community participation.

All SP delegated by the STEEM Foundation was exclusively used to vote on posts from Cryptid Hunter users, and we gave higher vote weight to users who showed high levels of activity in the game.

In particular, we increased our focus on curating comment activity, prioritizing interaction and communication within the community beyond simple posting.

Cryptid Hunter Service Update

• Since the launch of the STEEM version of Cryptid Hunter, more than 500 users have participated, and many of them have also started engaging on Steemit. This steady influx of new users is viewed positively.
• The past week was focused on fixing reported bugs, and we maintained consistent communication with users.
• The service is steadily improving, and we expect to release a new expansion pack next week.
• Currently, most users writing under the #cryptidhunter tag or using the Cryptid Hunter service are users who originally joined from the TON blockchain version. While there is still limited participation from existing Steemit community users, we view the influx of external users onto Steemit as a positive development.

Thoughts on the Community

We place great importance on sharing our thoughts and feedback through curator activity and actively communicating with users in the Steemit community.

Although we see potential for Steemit to become a platform where diverse communities can interact and grow together, the current curator system unfortunately leans toward functioning as a bounty-based mining tool rather than supporting true community building.

While the surface may appear active, a deeper look often reveals that actual interaction is lacking, and the community may feel inactive in reality. This can lead to unintended side effects.

We hope that the Steemit ecosystem will evolve into one where genuine interaction and sustainable community cooperation can flourish, and we will continue to offer feedback and engagement in that direction.

Plans for Next Week

Next week, we plan to introduce various curator systems to users and encourage participation in other Steemit communities as well.

Our goal is to foster long-term community growth rather than focusing solely on short-term rewards, and we will continue our curator efforts with this objective in mind.
