Yes, I truly hope the war ends sooner. Unfortunately I read on our news that Georgia may be attacked next as it is following the steps of Ukraine. I hope that doesn't happen...
That train travel sounds amazing and I have heard the Carpathians are mighty and very beautiful. I hope to be able to take that travel once the peace is back!
Until there are changes in the political leadership of russia, we will see many more unpleasant surprises😕.
True! However, I wonder how would that happen, though. I lived under communist dictatorship for more than 15 years of my life and if people get prisoned for telling a joke about the leader, how are they supposed to go on the streets, protest and ask for a change. Still, I see this happens sporadically but I am afraid this is just so it looks like some democracy and yet, I am sure there is none and people just keep their mouths shut.
You are absolutely right. People can be provoked only by something very terrible, such as the death of a loved one or absolute poverty. Then they feel that they have nothing left to lose. But I also think that we should not wait for any positive developments in the near future.
Let's hope some miracle happens soon and those "big" heads come to their senses.
Who knows, probably an alien invasion could unite us all.
Looking retrospectively, it seems we, people, need a common enemy to unite, otherwise we start fighting each other sooner or later :(
