Weekly Curation Report by Team Millionaire - Week 1 April 2023
Introduction:
Hello Steemians,
Tuesday 04 April 2023 was the closing day of the first week of April for the Millionaire's Team curation mission to support high quality contests and challenges organized by individuals or active communities during this weekly period which began on March 29, 2023.
First of all, we mention that the composition of our team has undergone some changes this month and also with the departures of the members @lavanyalakshman and @karianaporras whom we thank for all their efforts and wish them good luck in their next missions. Along with the return of member @adeljose who welcomes us back to his family.
Overall, this week saw a 9% decrease in the number of entries falling under the primary hashtag #contest, as we voted for 140 posts, compared to 153 in the previous report. In turn, our vote for worthy comments rose to 52 positive reviews, up 33% from the previous week.
Now let's move on to the detailed presentation of the results of the first week, in which we can see which communities and users received support from our team, the number of posts voted, the most relevant hashtags and the club statut.
Our statistics:
Here we find the most important statistics for club status for entries, where we have a variation between the numbers and which are identical to the previous week, obtaining #club5050 at 42%, followed by #club75 at 25% and then #club100 to 33%.
For the varied geographical distribution of publications supported by the team during this period. We found 18 countries linked to competitions with good themes with the dominance of the country Venezuela followed by Nigeria and which is a strong proof of the expansion of our platform and the noble competition between the communities.
For the most important tags used, we find as usual a tag that dominates most of the publications which is the #contest tag, even if we always ask that a special tag be assigned in addition to each work, so thank you for stick to this request.
We end our statistics with the 35 communities we have supported this week, with a increase of 6% compared to last week.
The feedback of our curators :
@o1eh 29/03/2023
My curation day is on Wednesday. This time I got the job done quickly. Looking through some of the contest winners' posts, I noticed that their posts didn't even reach a dollar. At the same time, these are thorough posts, the authors of which have put effort into writing them. So I set aside some time to go through all of the winning posts that were announced on Wednesday. I found 2-3 underrated posts and rewarded them.
In total, I supported 20 posts whose authors are in clubs:
8 in #club5050;
6 in #club75;
6 in #club100.
I also managed to find and support 5 valuable comments.
@disconnect 30/03/2023
I came across 22 contests post and 10 comments to support on this day. I noticed a decrease in contests available hence supported contest winners to keep my day balanced. For the winning announcement, I made a conscious effort to support those with higher levels of participation as a way to encourage more engagement. I also set a guideline for myself to look for quality comments where I will try to support at least 10 comments per day. I’ve looked for the engagement level and the helpfulness of the comment. Overall, I believe it was a productive day.

It was Friday, corresponding to March 31, 2023, my turn as a curational member of the Millionaire team to detect and upvote the best contests presented on the platform, to encourage winning entries, as well as to select the best comments.
Compared to last week, this week saw a decrease in the number of upvoted entries, to 21, of which 5 are comments, of which newly created contests accounted for only about 31%, and the rest were winning entries. We also skipped about 5 posts for several reasons, the most important of which being not having club status or exceeding the upvote deadline, as we know, within seven days. Of course, some contests organized by members of our team have been circumvented, because the laws prevent us from voting on them.
Regarding some club status statistics, we found 8 posts belonging to #club5050, on the other hand 4 posts belonging to #club 75 and 3 belonging to #club100, and votes were cast for this in varying proportions, which are respectively 30%, 40% and 50% with an additional 5% for items included in the #burnsteem25 campaign.

It has been exciting to be part of a curation team again after two months of absence. This first day I had the opportunity to do my curating shift with a bit of a slow start but then I managed to balance the times to achieve a good amount of posts and comments supported using the curator account. I have been able to see an increase in the promotion of contests, as well as the themes, giving more options to users to generate good quality publications.

I've been curating for the first week of the month. And it is a very valuable opportunity for me. I curated with heart and love. I am satisfied with the curation that I have done. I hereby assist the contest organizer. The contest can improve the quality of content in Steemit. The team consists of great and committed Steemians. I learned a lot from them. And it is an opportunity for me to continue to learn from them.
I curated with love and hearth. I feel more flexible in using curated accounts. And I've adapted to Team rules. On Sunday, April 02, 2023, via my Steemcurator03 account, I voted on 21 posts, consisting of 9 contest posts, a post of mine, and 11 contest winner posts. I've also voted on 4 quality comments that match the theme of the post.

This is the first time I was curating for the Monday. My selection for the April curation team and less number of team members made it possible. From my experience of compiling #contestalerts, I knew that Mondays are typically filled with contests, hence the day was exciting and relatively easy to complete. I supported 21 contests post and 10 comments to conclude the day. Overall, it was a great experience being part of the curation team once again and I'm looking forward to continuing to engage with the community in this way.

We are starting a new month, the month of April, I started my curation work a little late as the shift was delivered to me almost 5 hours later, so I could vote only 24 quality posts, I had 15 contest winning posts and 9 contests with great dynamics. I think the day was a bit weak in terms of contests, because there were problems with the platform, plus the current challenges that always minimize such dynamics.
Most of the posts were from the #club5050. I was also able to vote 10 quality comments, comments made in different contests.
This first week the team has been going very well, we have all done our work and so far we have no problems. Only the current problem with the platform, as you can not see or load the images.
Grateful for the opportunity that I was given again this April, I will continue to give my best to support both users and active communities. Greetings!

My chosen contest this week is "Keyword of the Week". It is held in the Dream Steem community. This contest offers authors a certain word each week, and the authors must come up with a short piece of literature on that topic. He encourages people to show their literary abilities and gives us interesting reading. After all, the purpose of the Steemit platform is to offer people something interesting to read.

Women has many roles to play in her life, more often, they are the main pillars of their families. It is not a secret that they have to sacrifice their dreams in order to pave the way for others. This week, @liasteem has organized a contest that addresses this very issue, and I believe that many women will have valuable insights to share about their personal obstacles and how they overcame them.

Shopping is a recreational activity in which people wander around the available goods and services to be purchased. It is divided into regular shopping and modern online shopping. When it comes to traditional shopping and online shopping, we will find many negatives and advantages for both of them. In this context, @yourloveguru organizes this competition to find out users' opinions on this topic by answering a number of questions. good luck for everbody.

I have selected this contest because it proposes an interesting content where participants must show their creative and ingenious side to survive an adverse situation, in this case, to endure living without electricity, the development of each participation can serve as learning to apply it in case of a similar situation.

This contest will provide an overview of interesting tourist attractions recommendations along with special people. He will also give us knowledge about the advantages and disadvantages of the type of travel used.
It is a good contest idea. The Contest Organizer has a special hashtag that refers to the contest, so the organizer can easily find participating posts, clear contest rules, and prizes to distribute. And most importantly, the organizers of the competition pay attention to the authenticity of the participant's posts.

Challenging the creativity is the most important factor of any contests. This day @josevas217 is trying to do it with a perfect contest. It’s a unique contest where everyone wins and it is an easy contest that the participants just have to comment with 100 words of creativity! I believe it is already a success checking the participation level.

The contest brought to us by our friend @mavilan, is a very creative and original contest, because it not only makes our imagination fly, but also invites us to talk about art, a topic that is established in every action we do, art is everywhere and through it today we can express our ideas and thoughts.
It would be great to read the users' entries and see what kind of work they would like to be, what message they would like to convey to the world, because each work of art has a meaning and usually is always of great relevance to society.
The contest is very well written, has good layout, good theme, clear rules and good prizes for the participants.
