Week#1 Curation Report (April Session)| Finance & Technology | Quality Control Team| @steemcurator05
Hello steemians,
April 1, 2022 marked the start of a new round of curation for articles with high-quality content in multiple areas. My team, which we call the Quality Control Team, is responsible for selecting the best articles in the fields of finance and technology. As a first experience in its first week, which ended on April 7, 2022, we noted the satisfaction of all team members after integrating the technology to our previous domain because it left us with more choice to better prefer between posts, which is a vision adopted by the moderators of the Steemit ecosystem that has paid off from the start.
The members of my team (@Shemul21 - @pelon53 -@fredquantum - @nane15 - @irawandedy - @chiabertrand- kouba01) were able to upvote this week on a total of 119 articles, which fulfilled all the conditions to benefit from the curation, with a relatively low number of articles that were skipped, which is explained by users' understanding of the use of our tags, in particular the main tag #fintech, which I invite all participants to use so that curators can easily access their content to benefit from our upvote.
We will successively present you with a set of tables containing the most important statistics, followed by a reading of these data and some recommendations to end with the publication of a list of the seven best articles of this week. Good reading.

No Club : To encourage the growth of the Power-Up climate and efforts to join club5050, club75 and club100. The curation is Friday, 01 April 2022. The curation I provide is more focused on content belonging to one club.

The quality of articles has improved this time. Although, some users were still found to be misusing the tags with power up articles and we hope that would decrease as time goes on. That said, users are not quite used to the new tags yet as such I worked between the new tags and the old ones.
In addition, during curation today, I have attached a message on the need for users to include the main tag, #fintech, among the first 4 tags such that the articles could be easily seen in one place as such the search for other tags would be minimal and that would reduce the rate at which some articles tend to miss out on curation.

We are seeing a marked improvement in the level of articles submitted under our #fintech tag, which we have increased in different percentages depending on users' affiliation with the club and the value of the information provided in its form and content.
We also noted an article with plagiarism content, we invite all users to stay away from this practice and try to give their best by writing excellent articles to get our valuable upvotes.

This week, the users have produced a number of high-quality posts. However, some of them do not attend club events. I received a lot of incomplete posts as well. The fact that a large number of users were unaware of the community curation was a problem. That's why the same person received multiple upvotes. Because those who are aware of it produce high-quality content on a daily basis. So, we should spread the opportunity to more users, especially new users.

Based on the new theme of the group, mainly related to technology, I started this day using the new tag to curate content, #fintech, a tag that I will mainly be reviewing to curate content related to technology, finance, and cryptocurrencies.
The amount of content grew quite a bit, the dissemination of information about the curation team was quite strong and we can see this in the large number of people who were already using the #fintech tag just 5 days after its creation.
Thanks to this I was able to find a lot of valuable content, I can say that the curation process was much more pleasant and profitable than in other weeks. Certainly there is much more content, in quantity much more good content thanks to the aforementioned.
Although that does not mean that in percentages the amount of really good content has increased over the poor. This week I saw the need, as always, to skip a large number of publications, a couple of them I can say that they met what was necessary to be voted on but they did not manage to fulfill all the preliminary requirements for the publication that are necessary for a vote.
I carried out my curation this day quite calmly and I spend most of the day reading, I read most of the posts during the day, this makes the task easier, then I start to vote for the ones I consider to be of quality.
Every time I notice less originality in the posts related to this topic, this is something a bit worrying, it seems to me that if more contests were created on these topics, it would be possible to improve the amount of original content related to these topics.

The quality of reviewed posts increased this week. I also observed the participation of new users. However, there are users who make daily and quality publications, but it is necessary that other new users can be chosen to receive a positive vote and that they are not the same ones who always get the vote. I think it was a good decision to merge Finance with Technology and Science.
During the curation, I encouraged 2 users to join club5050, club75, or club100, with a chance of receiving an upvote from Steemcurator05.

I experienced a rapid increase in the number of publications as compared to the previous weeks. I think this is because of the combination of Finance and Technology categories into one theme
I also experienced an increase in the number of quality publications during my curation time. I'm so happy about this because it means users are now aware of the type of content they published because they try their best to create good quality publications
I have also noticed a reduction in the number of users who abuse our #tags and that of their club status as compared to last time. It should be noted that the use of wrong tags and club status on your articles is a very bad practice. I hope the remaining few users that still practice this should be aware of the consequence

I have found this article to be one of the top quality articles curated today and it deserves to be selected at the top spot after an article ahead of it got supported earlier.
