Weekly Curation Report by Team 3 -Week 2
Hello dear Steemians. This is Team 3's second week of curation. We've continued to search for good content inside and outside the communities.
Selecting outside of the communities has been limited due to the guidelines we need to follow, however, we have reached a total of 170 publications spread over 139 authors this week, which means a good average vote distribution.
In this report we will share the details of our management and the distribution of votes for greater transparency.
Now we will show the statistics of this first week.
Stats:
Tags
This week we have been able to cover 25 tags, although the Daily game dominates with 29% of the posts.
Communities
We have covered a total of 31 communities.
Here it is worth saying that the publications located within the communities mostly meet the requested parameters. We have to assume that it is due to the guidance given to users.
Country
We have covered a total of 14 countries in which the largest presence is Venezuela, Nigeria and Indonesia.
Clubs
As for the clubs, the highest percentage of supported publications is found in club5050.
Comments
This week we were supporting meaningful comments, we supported a total of 28 comments.
Comments from our team:
Friday 9, and Saturday 10
For this week's curation, I focused on the distribution of curation in each community, but there are still some obstacles related to the post requirements that are categorized as quality posts.
- Some posts look very interesting with good image quality, but unfortunately the writing doesn't focus on a particular topic and seems to only explain image descriptions.
- Repeating photos in the same situation or the same place in 1 post or pasting photos that have been posted but with different photos but in the same situation (this is the most common).
- Long and ineffective post titles such as adding club status #club100, #burnsteem25 or written by @... ? - This addition seems redundant as moderators will verify club status and support for #burnsteem25.
Those are the points that I can convey during my curation for this week and it is very important to use the steemworld.org web to determine club status because the results are accurate.
Sunday 11, and Thursday 15
On this day of curation, I still had a wandeful experience just like the other days taking tours across several communities, blogs and #tags looking for good contents to curate. However, I didn't fine any good posts on blogs, so I focus on searching for articles by #tags and Communities
I came across some good contents but unfortunately most didn't follow the Curational guidelines as some where not in a club while others where using bit bot. I also came across few good articles but couldn't support them because it was too short and lack an in-depth analysis. Hope users take their time and produce good contents subsequently to stand chances of recieving support from Curators
I didn't support a majority because the authors had already recieve support from other curators. However, I manage to support a total number of 24 articles out of a whole bunch of articles I came across
I also came across some good engagement comments which I supported with little % votes. I urge users to increase their level of engagement through comments so that they can get maximum support from us
It was a wandeful day for me as I still had to support alot of users through my curational activities. I hope to expand this support to different users subsequently
Monday 12
I have continued through the second week of healing looking for good quality posts in and out of communities.
It is not easy to find the posts published only on blogs, some of them do not follow the parameters that we must follow as clubs and steemexclusive.
I have tried to search not only for good publications but also for good authors, for which I review their profiles and use the steemworld tool, combining all aspects makes the search take longer but it is always satisfying to be able to find what you are looking for.
I think authors should still be encouraged to use their voting power.
This week I have also voted for comments.
Tuesday 13
This is my second day in Curation.
This time also I see a lot of users not focusing on curating others, also doing self-support only.
Most users already get support, so identifying authors who do not get that much support becomes very hard for me.
Nearly I spend more than 5 hours today also, I use steemworld for checking their previous support, club status and voting CSI.
This time also diary posts attract me a lot, but I try to diversify by applying keywords.
This time I also curate comments too.
Thank you
Wednesday 14
The second week of the engagement challenge seems to be more tedious than the first. This time, finding a quality article which meets the team's requirements seems to be more difficult.
Based on the guideline my team adopted, before voting on any article I had to ensure I check the account properly and ensure that all the team's laid down guidelines are met. Most users find it difficult to vote on other people's articles whereas some others focus on only a few users.
Most quality articles I came across had already received 2x votes from my team hence I had to search deeper to get those who have not been voted at all or those who have received just 1x vote from the account and met the requirement.
I was able to vote on about 25 articles with about 3 comments on the day of my healing. I notice also that some users don't include the club tag and their country tag among the hashtags on their posts. I was able to drop a message in the comment section of those posts and also guide them to do the needful.

The author wrote extensively about his experience with the purchase of a cow. He noticed during the process that the business is quite lucrative knowing fully well that you spend very less and make a large profit within a very short period. He also stated the reason he considers the business more lucrative here in Nigeria. According to his explanation, you don't have to buy feed for them since they eat grass and Nigeria has a lot of them. He also gave the price of the cows in NGN and its equivalent in Steem.- @simonnwigwe

He began by telling us his main reasons of carrying out this project then later showed us his activities at the farm as he carried out spraying and also seed nursing.
