Week 4 Curation Report by Team Discovery Squad
Dear Steemit Team,
We, the Discovery Squad, were responsible for managing the SC05 Account for November 2024, and we are excited to report on our 4th week activities as community curators. As usual, it was a successful week; many users were active, and most of the posts we curated were from the diary games. This is to be expected since we curate every post, excluding challenges. We also highlighted a few posts on arts, food, travel, and creative writing. We spread our support evenly, prioritizing posts that are Steem-exclusive and original. Below are the highlights of our work, along with the seven best authors of the week.
Global Reach:
We distributed our votes across 14 different countries, upvoting 165 posts during the week and supporting 148 unique users. Among these users, Nigerians received the most support with 34 upvotes, followed by Pakistan with 28 and Venezuela with 27. We also supported users from Chile, Sierra Leone, Argentina, the Netherlands, and Spain.
Community Engagement:
We supported posts in 32 different communities and 12 personal blogs. The Hindwhale community led with 19 upvotes, followed by Steem for Ladies with 17, and the SteemFor Pakistan Community with 13 votes.
Club Status:
We adopted a flexible approach to our club status rule. We found some good posts without club status and decided to support them. Our upvotes were distributed as follows: Club5050 received 107 upvotes, Club100 got 31 upvotes, ClubP75 received 12 upvotes, and posts without club status received 14 upvotes.
Meaningful Contributions:
In our effort to encourage meaningful engagement on the platform, we supported 23 thoughtful comments throughout the week.
Curator Working Schedule:
The schedule indicates our working days for the week and the number of posts curated each day.
Post Link Reason: @emishael60 shared a great post on his techniques for improving his health which are practical both practical and inspiring. He balances exercise with mindful eating and habit changes, this shows a holistic approach. It's amazing to see how little adjustments can leads to needed results. This is great, if there's anything that inspires and encourages me in steemit is this analysis and breakdown of activities, curation and voting report.
This alone differentiate steemit from every other social media platforms. It helps authors to work hard and try as much as possible to create good and original contents, and also not to feel bias.
Though I'm barely a month and 2 weeks old in steemit, I can boldly say that there's no partiality in this platform. Both the curators, moderators and the representatives are doing their work diligently.
The manner of approach especially when educating and correcting the new Steemians shows love, fairness and commitment to steemit blog.
Let me use this medium to ask for clarification please. How will I be in club 100. The reason I'm asking is, since I joined steemit, I only withdrew twice and that was like club5050. I have been powering up since then because I want to be in club 100, my SteemMobile shows I'm in club 75, but if I use #club75 in my post the moderator's review always told me that I'm in club5050. Please @goodybest can you help throw more light on this?
Thank you very much for your support and this analysis. I'll always keep steemit my best social media platform.
