Week #1 | Curation Report by Team 2 (September Community Curators)
Introduction
The new community curatorial activities have been running quite smoothly over the last 7 days with different teams moving around to curate quality content across Steemit. Team 2 members ain't an exception either, we have been upvoting great content on the platform and it's time to give a report of our activities over the period.

Our Curation Style
Visiting different communities on Steemit to support quality content from authors.
We are not limited to a theme as such we have supported different types of articles over the period including articles produced in the ongoing Steemit Engagement Challenge.
We have also utilized the most basic tags like the club status, steemexclusive, and so on to search for authors who might have published their articles on their own blog.
Curation from us follows the basic rules adequately while some of the skipped articles were left with appropriate messages about why we skipped them.
Curation Per Community
We have supported articles from 30 different communities during the last 7 days of curation and the sheets below give the details of those communities that have gotten support from the SC05 account.
Two articles on users' blog were supported during the period.
Curation Per Nationality
In addition, we have supported people of different races during the period and the metrics of those are shared below.
Curation Per Languages
Authors write in different languages on the platform and for the week, articles written utilizing the Spanish language dominated having slightly more than articles written utilizing the English language.
Curation Per Club Status
Compliance with the club status has been one of the basic rules of our curation as such we have not curated other articles that are not in any of the club classes. Below are the metrics of the articles we have supported based on club status.
Articles written by users in the #club5050 status dominated this section taking a total of 50% out of the total articles curated for the week.
Total Curated Articles for the Week
We have checked a total of 252 articles over the previous week and only 169 of those were supported according to their clubs and quality.
A plagiarized article was found by one of the members of the team, in the person of @irawandedy. It's quite obvious it's one of those users who have visited Steemit to generate some traffic for their affiliate marketing businesses and so on.

Our dear user presents us with an excellent publication, where we can appreciate all his art, the ease you have to make magnificent drawings and fill them with very bright colors. He presents us with a good tutorial, explains every detail, and also lets us know that part of his instruments were acquired with his first earnings from steemit. Undoubtedly something very important.
It meets the standards set by the team and presents a good layout, a good description, and a quality publication.

Our friend @mcarol19 tells us in detail about her trip from Margarita Island in Venezuela to San Antonio del Táchira, how it hurt her to say goodbye to her parents and siblings at the airport to find a new destination, a very exhausting trip where they had to pay extra for arriving 20 minutes late at the border with Colombia and continue on a bus to Medellín.
Beautiful pictures, justified texts, correct use of Markdown, and more than 300 words in its text, this is why I selected it as the publication of the day.

The author of this post wrote about teaching Scout at school and his activities. He is posting his activities with pictures and captions under them. In each paragraph, he has beautifully illustrated his work and given the location of each place. It deserves to be selected for the top post.

The author has made a business review of a supermart in his city known as Market square highlighting the goods sold at the place while he also shared a valid user experience about his purchase at the supermart, including their prices in local currency and Steem. It's a neat piece that deserves the top spot.
Curators from our team express that the whole new system feels new to them as they have to search across the platform to curate articles but they are getting familiar with it already.
One of the few challenges experienced earlier was clashing with other teams on curation, on a few occasions, our team members resolved to remove their upvotes from some articles. We would like to urge other teams to refresh the page after curation to ensure double votes have not been given by different teams at the same time.
We are glad to have been able to come up with our first report of the month and as well congratulate the winners selected for the week. In addition, we have noticed a few users that have powered down after receiving upvotes from us and each curator has been working towards removing those upvotes as soon as possible. Thanks for reading through.
