Hi, all fellow Steemians,

Good morning from India,

Yes, this week was altogether different for me since I was not too active on the Steemit platform but busy outdoors. I missed a couple of days and didn't post but still did all my routine work like powering up and selecting newbies.

I started another contest. I usually like to write about travel, and that is what I did this week as I started another contest once again on Travel Steam, which should give Steemians a different experience as they will still write about travel but with a different theme. Last week it was learning something while on a trip, and it's going to be fun all the way in this week.

As I reported last week, I made a change in my "Newbie Promotional Program." by raising the rank limit from 50 to 55, as I feel this will give me a little more liberty to select promising Steemians. I have started this in my contests already, and I'm going to implement it for newbies selection from the coming week onwards.

My contest in the Traveling Steem Community

I feel the Steemit team is serious about the changes, as I can see they have introduced another category in the learning session having their own concerns with AI, but I still feel we need some normal writing contests to increase the engagement of the challenges.

I will keep experimenting with the travel niche, so I have come up with a different theme this week.

Contest "My Funny Travel Experience"- and result of the last week

I applied for a slot in Learning Season-23, and I am hopeful the changed pattern of the selection process will bring something for me to participate in the coming season. However, I don't mind if I was not selected for season 23 because it would clash with my offline project starting in the last week of March.

HWC Contest #117|| POWERUP

I added 200 SP to my wallet this week again, bringing my total close to 44.55K SP and the liquid Steem that I intend to add in the next few days. I am glad I am getting close to my next target, even if at a slower speed.

Offline, I tried my best rescheduling my travel plans before leaving for Australia, but rain and fog continue, but this week I managed a trip to a nearby spot since the weather improved this week. I will post my travel experience in a short while.

Newbie Promotional Program

A New Initiative to help newbies

To support newbies, I am planning to help them in their writing journey on Steemit with a couple of new strategies, like my "Travel Writing Contest." Part 2 is already on its way, and in part one, I especially selected a newbie (under 55) that might encourage newbies to share about travel in their region and country. I selected @saifuddinmahmud, ranked 52 for his post:

My Unique Travel Experience

I am proud to announce once again that I supported as many newbies as I could through various methods, including setting them as beneficiaries in my posts every week, which helps them stay positive. I always vote for the best posts according to their quality and support them in my capacity as moderator and Steem representative.

As usual, my online and offline activities, including traveling, did not stop me from visiting and finding promising authors from the newcomers' community and selecting my quota of two of the best, under 50 rank, irrespective of their club status, communities, and countries, including rewarding one in my travel contest.

As always, I spent time with a couple of newbies on their or my posts. I feel like more and more newbies are getting in touch with me, and that's heartwarming when they are among them as they approach me.

I supported three newbies in the past week, keeping them as beneficiaries in my different posts and paying one of them through contest. As I always mention, I will keep supporting newbies because my "Newbie Support Program" is working well, and I feel good when I see newbies feel motivated and respond happily through their comments.

My selected users

As a routine, I selected the first "newbie," @emma7773, the first beneficiary of the week.

I selected for this post:

As usual, I am writing a message on the selected posts, and some of them understand the meaning of my message, so they feel happy and respond positively because they feel someone cares for them.

I posted a comment on her post.

My second newbie beneficiary is @gullsonia.

A message on that post, whom I have set as beneficiaries in this post, but no reply from either of them.

Moderator Duty

I completed my weekly duty as moderator, which took a lot of my time but had too few real travel posts, but mostly diary posts. However, the travelers posting their travel experiences compensated for my time and efforts.

Again, I am trying my best to support genuine queries by Steemians, both new and old, through various channels to support them in spreading awareness and pacifying them in case anyone has a problem.

Once again, I am proud to announce that as SR, I try my best to support all good posts, but let me request the authorities once again that we should get more power to support Steemians with extra voting power to talented Steemians. I hope the Steem Team will see a point in my suggestion.

My Account Summary

Screenshot (2758).png

This week my CSI is below my normal range of 10-15, as I was traveling, yet I supported all who need my support; however, this week I could not visit as many posts because writing reports, moderation, and curation besides traveling kept me busy on other fronts.

These are my regular posts.

I have missed it for the first time, as I could not post daily but still did 6 posts this week including SR Report. I posted as many comments as I could, but I guess less than what I do in normal course. There was another reason for lesser posts there were not many contests for me in the past week, yet I participated in as many contests this week as I could.

Once again, I am doing my job without any partiality, always thinking beyond any specific country or community, and supporting everyone on the platform on an equal basis. To end this week's report, my sincere thanks to all the Steemians for all they do to support me and the Steemit platform in general.

That's all for this week!

Thanks all, I wish you a nice time ahead.

Yours sincerely,

@dove11
