RE: With a Little Help from Our Friends... ['Guidelines' & More]

in Steem POD Teamyesterday

I think most community curators are looking everywhere. That's great in terms of not wanting to overlook anyone.
But it's also overwhelming and it's easier to make “mistakes”. You lose track (especially of duplicate and multiple accounts that you don't know about), you vote for something that you don't understand (how many orthographically poor articles are voted for here...). You don't want to be corrupt yourself (okay, some do it on purpose) yet you let yourself become an instrument when you presume to serve as many as possible... All holes in the system...

Okay, now I'm writing so much again. Actually, I just wanted to say one thing:
We serve 1 of 11 (!) accounts.

If we could vote exclusively good European posts with these less than 10%, I would be very happy. But unfortunately there are not that many authors! We were once many...
There are a lot of reasons why many just left and many hid in their “then-I-just-care-for-myself corner” via bots and delegations.
A few users are hoping that our new approach will revitalize “the European scene” a little. Maybe. Or maybe not. It's an experiment, we'll evaluate later, not on the first day... :-)

You learn every day on Steemit, every day. The “behavioral studies” are particularly interesting...

Thank you.
