Steem greetings @everyone and welcome to my blog as I present my 28th report as the Steem Representative.

It is yet another awesome week of work with heads high while trying to scale a balance between offline commitments and business as usual on Steemit. This has not been without some hitches with poor internet connection signals but were all overcome with ease.

That said, below I will be talking about the different activities carried out across the platform within the above-stated period of time.

Steemit Promotion.

I have taken it as a duty to talk about Steemit to anyone closer to me and while talking about Steemit I assured them to assist create an account and also guide them through on the platform. For this week, I talk about Steemit to 8 persons but none of them has shown interest so far in joining but they assured me to do more research and get back to me if necessary. This goes with the adage that “…you cannot take a horse to the stream and force it to drink water”.

As usual, facebook is one of the platforms I used to promote Steemit because I have over 2.8k followers but unfortunately, there are lots of scammers on Facebook. It makes it difficult to gain the trust of my Facebook followers to sign up because they believe anything that has to do with cryptocurrency is fake. Most of them I approached were once victims of cryptocurrency scams on Facebook.

I equally used my WhatsApp status as a means of promoting Steemit to my contacts.

Activities in Steem Cameroon Community.

It is a routine that every week we meet online and discuss how to better manage the community. We discussed about the mode of selecting posts for booming support. We also discussed having a meeting with old and new inactive Cameroonian steemians and trying to pull everyone along. We believe “…we are stronger together”. So far, some of the old inactive members are back though their activities on the platform is timid.

I still continued to hold discussions with some of the inactive Cameroonian newbies and encouraged them to be active. They keep promising to be active again but I haven't seen that yet in the likes of @nsangou-rudolf, @fabso, @mark-bryan and @tanjong-miriam.

As a plagiarism leader and actively fighting all forms of abuse on the community, I had to ensure that content creators create quality content free from any form of abuse on steemit. No abuses of content was recorded. We hope steemians continues to be creative in ideas and create plagiarized free content and proper use of non-copyrighted images.

I also caution steemians especially newcomers about clicking on phishing links and operating 3rd party DApps. This is because they risk losing their Steemit accounts to hackers. I also informed them about “account recovery” within 30 days if not they stand to lose the account to hackers.

Steemit Learning Challenges

It was another awesome week of learning new concepts and ideas and participating in some of the courses.

I also used the learning challenge as an opportunity to interact with other users via meaningful conversation on my posts.

Content Creation.

It was indeed a busy week but I still stayed committed on the platform. I created a total of 6 posts including my weekly report.

I also shared an educational post on preparing a herbal syrup to fight against common cold and flu. This is the season in Cameroon where most kids and adults suffer from this illness.

Support Other Content Creators with @chant Account.

I used my effective Steem power of over 56k to support steemians with quality content on the platform.

I did power up some liquid Steem to increase my steem power and supported other content creators for their hard work on the platform.
