What is data mining

If I talk about data mining then it's a process to discover patterns and relationships in big datasets in automatic way by the use of different statistical and mathematical strategies. It includes to analyze information from various sources including databases, files as well as online repositories for extraction of insights and knowledge that are valuable.Data mining have particular usage in different industries which include business, healthcare as well as marketing.

Data mining types

There are different sorts of data mining in which first of all there are predictive modeling,then clustering, decision trees as well as association rule mining are also included.If I discuss about predictive modeling then here we use statistical models for forecasting future behaviors.

If I talk about another type which is clustering then it includes to group up same data points in clusters so that patterns and relationships may be identified.Decision trees uses models just similar with trees for classification of data as well as for making predictions.Last but not least there's association rule mining in which there's a need of identification of relationships among variables in dataset.
