If I talk about my today's topic that I am going to share then this is about connected devices so I would like to go into depth of the topic!

If I talk about connected devices then these are also referred as internet of things devices which contain any device which connect with internet and help in communication with other systems or devices. If I talk about these devices then they can be sensors as well as actuators and complex systems including industrial control systems as well as smart home hubs.

If I talk about role of connecting devices then it may be present and can be clearly seen in different fields which include transport, energy, manufacturing as well as health!

If I talk about benefits of connected devices then these are used for enabling real time monitoring and controlling, automation of task and for providing insights by information analytics.These devices are also important in enhancement of providing security,safety as well as efficiency in different fields of life. As an example you can understand that there are smart thermostats which are used for optimisation of consuming energy but there are wearable fitness trackers which are used for tracking health and wellness of body overall.

If I talk about smart homes then this is most common example of connected devices in action. Smart home contains different devices in which lighting system thermostat door locks security cameras are most important which can be controlled and second balance can be measured by using smartphone app.A seamless and automated living experience may be created by these devices.

If I talk about wearable technology then these are those that can be wear at body in which we have smart watch as well as fitness trackers about which I have already discussed if I talk about these devices then these are used for tracking vital signs of body, monitoring human body physical activities as well as for providing personal recommendations for making different improvement.These are the technologies which are used for enabling development of telemedicine that are permitting patients for consulting with health professionals remotely.

Industrial landscape is also transforming by use of connective devices because these are enabling automating and optimisation of processes. There are industrial automation systems like sensors and actuators which may check and control equipments, predicting requirements of maintenance as well as for enhancements of efficiency so it can result in savings of cost as well as in increasing productivity for oil and gas as well as other manufacturing industries.

Connected devices are also helpful in offering multiple benefits because these are also raising major safety and privacy related concernd.Risk of cyber attacks and breaches of information is increasing with more connections of these devices.If I talk about collecting and analysing personal information then by connected devices privacy and surveillance related concerns can be raised.
