Gayo Tribe Rainbow Housing on the Edge of Lake Lut Tawar
Hello friends of Steemit Travel, I hope you are in good health and blessed.
Every tourist trip, of course, leaves moments or memories to be recounted. Like a tourist trip that I did some time ago to Central Aceh district. This district area always gives the most beautiful memories every time you visit or travel to this area.
Central Aceh Regency, Takengon is a district located in the highlands. Its territory is spread across the Gayo mountain range. This area is the prima donna area most visited by tourists because it is famous for its natural beauty.
In addition, this area has also been developed into an eco-tourism district which has a number of tourist spots. This area has cool air and beautiful natural scenery. Being in a highland area, with cold weather levels gives a distinct impression and experience for tourists.
Even though I have visited this area several times, there is always an urge to come back and enjoy the tour. This district continues to develop various sectors to support it as an ecotourism area that is famous for its beautiful mountains and lake Laut Tawar. Finding beautiful nature and panoramic views with cool nuances is a dream for me.
Every time I visit this area, I always get new things, whether it's about tourist spots, customs, food, or local wisdom. Like when I was traveling along the road on the shores of Lake Laut Tawar, I found a village that was given the name Pelangi village. This village with colorful houses is located in Bale Nosar Village, Bintang District, Central Aceh Regency, Takengon. This village looks quite unique and grabs the attention of tourists when passing through this village.
How not, this village on the edge of the lake which is a phenomenal and most proud location has colorful houses. So this village is called the rainbow village, because it has houses that have been painted in various ways. This village is not very wide, there are dozens of houses that have been colored with various colors, so it is called the rainbow house.
I didn't really count the specific number of houses in this village, but it seems that there are dozens of houses that have been colored. This house is not so far from the shores of this wide stretch of lake. The original inhabitants of this area are the Gayo Tribe, a tribe in the province of Aceh who lives in the highlands. This tribe spreads and lives in several districts such as Bener Meriah, Central Aceh and Gayo Lues.
Gayo language is the everyday language spoken by the people here. The majority of the population makes a living in the plantation and agriculture sectors. Coffee plants and vegetables are the mainstay of food production in this area which is able to support economic growth and support the welfare of the population.
The village government here has also supported funding for the development of ecotourism villages that are able to support economic growth from the tourism sector, food business, or hotel and lodging services. The gayo tribe also has a wealth of art and culture that has been inherited since the 11th century during the Linge kingdom, a kingdom founded by the Gayo people at that time.
When traveling here, we not only enjoy the natural beauty with the sensation of cool air that is so refreshing, but we can also find local wisdom and the lifestyle of the local people. Progress and improvement in the tourism sector continue to be improved, including a balance with nature conservation. Takengon with all its beauty always wants to be remembered and immortalized its moments.
Including the story of the rainbow village which looks quite unique and interesting. An innovation made in attracting the attention of tourists and the development of the tourism sector. I really always want to come back to this area to enjoy the various sensations and experiences that are so worth it.
That's the story of my travels, I hope this post can provide education and knowledge for all of the kits. Thank you for reading and supporting my post. Do you have an interesting story about your travels? Share with us in Steemit Travel community !!!

You have given me a good idea, that of creating a link to Wikipedia where it explains the places, I had never thought of that
Is there a local horse at that location?
Pemandangan sekitaran rumah warga begitu indah 🔥
Congratulations !!!
