ᔕᑕᗷ - Booming Upvotes Boost
.jpg)
How to get one?
You only can if you are member of a community who is allowed to give 2 or more per week. These communities should be active and?
Rules are set but it's a fact that there are more communities without than with the right to give this extra vote (around 6 dollars?).
A community with the right to give these votes will frequently use it to reward moderators (administrators at times) and the rest goes to...
There are rules set when to give a booming upvote although those rules are by far not always followed.
You make a chance if
- Text with a minimum of 300 words is written (some communities may set 500+ words),
- If you use the hashtag #steemexclusive (your post will be checked so lying is useless) for your 4th or 5th hashtag (use the others to promote your post also on the world wide web!)
- If you have a club status: club5050 (you reach this status after one month powerup at least 50% of your rewards), club75 you reach after powerup at least 75% of your rewards over two months and club100 you reach if you powerup 100% of your rewards over 3 months.
Is there more you should know?
Communities like to see you as an active member so don't expect you to receive a Booming upvote after posting once or twice.
There are a lot of ifs and there is the word chance there is no guarantee and yes, there are communities that will always reward the same people (family + friends) while others also give a booming vote to active Steemians not being a member.
Note: Communities can set a booming votes as a prize for a contest. This means the host nor the community pays for it but it is possible that this vote can be refused if your post is AI generated, plagiarism m, not Steem exclusive (posted on Steemit only), if you are a farmer and so on.
Booming votes are a nice extra and they:
- do not drain the host of a contest
- are higher than the average upvote given by an SC team
- The host of a contest (moderator) can receive an upvote as well (twice a win for the host/moderator)
- It makes it possible to grow faster for those who receive a boost
- and indeed it is the booming upvote why many are eager to be moderators in these communities (guaranteed income) not because they love to read you.
That being said this doesn't mean you cannot make a chance to receive a booming upvote if you stick to all the rules, engage and are committed to this platform which isn't too hard or too much asked.
Btw, this community doesn't have them, the same counts for Tales & Stories (@hive-169911) and all support (delegated SP), contests I host and prizes I pay and those for #we-write and #miner-wewrite are straight out of my pocket (and @aneukpineung78 his).

This post is written with EverSteem but picture and adding markdowns is done with steemit.com. It feels the béta version has issues if it comes to posting (is refused to post and copy-paste a text doesn't work)

Every idea is good if it involves the community or those who are really interested in art and literature. As always, my respects to you. Because art needs people like you. That, despite not having all the support, that other communities have (banal, sometimes) keep trying and creating spaces to grow and that others do. Only those who love art for art's sake know what it feels like. The loneliness, the incomprehension many times.
My greetings and I hope that many people join, that they can contribute. That they edify the art.
I join, without further ado, to leave footprints in hearts and letters.

There's no need for booming votes and no intention to grow huge communities where no one talks and everyone only joins for the vote and drains the community and me not to mention the content I don't want.
Thanks for the supportive comment
I hope your footprints in the hearts will not be too big!

Yeah, I saw those booming votes in some contests.
Although, it would be really nice having a booming vote on one of your posts. But personally, I would not tailor my engagement in the community towards receiving a booming vote or such a thing.
For instance, there are many contests going on right now. If I have the time, I will only join the ones which I find interesting to me. The ones which I will enjoy participating in.
We all have came here because, this place is unique to us (irrespective of our different reasons for that). For me, I value engagement, reach and skills development more than one booming vote. I am still not saying that it isn't nice giving it an attempt. But, reaching to others and having your voice heard would make one content.

I believe you misunderstand me. This is a general topic discussed not a complaint. I do not want booming uovotes for my communities and also not hundreds subscribing. Those people will only join for the gain not because they care.
This community- SCB is meant as a databank and to chat there's no need to be a member and it's not allpwed to post without permission. The same counts for Tales & Stories and Art & Artists is for artists, skilled people with love for art not someone with a kindergarten drasing or crafts. The freewriters are also for those who love to write.
I guess I might have misunderstood it. But, I can see now that we share the same idea when it comes to booming vote and it is luring people who are there for gains and don't really care about the community itself.
