Our next trip was to Garden by the Bay

My trip in Singapore continued to the next very popular tourist destination, Gardens by the Bay.

After resting for a while at the Sultan Mosque of Singapore I then continued our journey to Garden by the bay, I booked an online taxi through the Grab application to get to Gardens by the Bay. I arrived there around 8 pm, Tuesday, February 4, 2024.

Upon arrival, right at the entrance, I was immediately mesmerized by the sight of the Supertree Grove displaying red light. Without hesitation, I captured the moment with my cellphone and rushed over to the trees.

There was no admission fee or ticket to explore the Supertree Grove area, where I found more than six giant trees adorned with beautiful lights and colorful plants. Unfortunately, as it was nighttime, there was also a lot of live vegetation around the Garden but since I came at night I couldn't see the colors of the surrounding plants.

My wife and I took a selfie near the giant trees to capture this beautiful moment. My wife was thrilled to finally see the magic of Gardens by the Bay in person, which we had only seen in TikTok videos.

Tourists watching a live show from Supertree Grove

According to the information I got, the light show at Supertree Grove started at 8.45pm. We waited for about 30 minutes to witness the attraction. I saw many people already sitting and sleeping around the trees to wait for the live show from Supertree Grove.

Aside from enjoying the beauty of Supertree Grove, I also marveled at the glass bridge above it. Reportedly, you have to buy tickets to get up there, but we were more interested in watching the light show from below.

From Garden by the bay, we can also enjoy a beautiful and special view of the three tall buildings of the majestic Marina Bay Sands with a huge ship on top, standing right in front of us.

After a long wait, the much-anticipated giant light show finally began. We were thrilled to be able to watch this mesmerizing show for free. The loud music added to the excitement of the show.

I have recorded a video of a live show from a giant tree, watch the video on Tiktok https://vt.tiktok.com/ZSM6eLY34/

After enjoying the show, we continued our journey by walking through the gardens around Gardens by the Bay. We then headed to the bridge around Gardens by the Bay. From this bridge, we got an amazingly beautiful view overlooking the three colorful and light-filled Marina Bay Sands buildings.

My wife and I took some photos near the bridge around the park.

Around the bridge, we could see a large river and fountains, and the cold weather and strong winds added to the cool and comfortable atmosphere that night.

According to the information I know, Garden by the bay is deliberately designed to be an attractive park to visit, making the atmosphere of the city more friendly to nature. In addition, the large trees that are created also serve to capture as much air pollution as possible, so I think the development of this park is extraordinary.

These giant trees are not just made to be ornamental plants in the city center, but have an important function for the health of the environment and nature around them.

The country of Singapore is small but the whole is very stunning, many special places that attract tourists. So if you are on vacation to this country, don't forget to visit Garden by the Bay.
