My traveling part 13 🇲🇾 : Damascus.my
Hello steemian friends, on this occasion let's continue the story of my trip in the Bukit Bintang area, Malaysia.
As I explained in my previous post that Bukit Bintang is the largest shopping, entertainment and culinary center in Malaysia. On this occasion I will review a place that is familiar to our ears, Damascus Kebab.

Damascus Kebab is a typical Middle Eastern dish originating from Damascus, the capital of Syria. This dish is famous almost all over the world for its authentic flavor and rich spices.
The first time my wife and I were in the front yard of this place, we could see the spacious and multi-storey Damascus kebab restaurant. We could see from the outside that the interior was very luxurious. So we were reluctant to enter, fearing that we would not be able to pay after finishing ordering. 😂
So we first asked how much it would cost for a small and large portion of kebab. True to our expectation, the price of one small kebab is around 65,000 IDR (27 Steem) and the large one is 80,000 IDR (34 Steem, calculated based on the Steem price on Friday, February 28, 2025.)
Knowing the high price I didn't plan to buy, but my wife was eager to enjoy the special taste of the kebab. My wife assured me that, in Indonesia, especially in Aceh, Lhokseumawe City, there are many kinds of kebabs sold, but the taste must be different from this kebab because it has special spices.
She continued to persuade me to buy so that we could taste the Middle Eastern specialty, so we finally decided to buy just one and asked to be wrapped immediately.

The waiter then immediately prepares the kababs we ordered, we can watch them prepare the kebabs right in front of us. No need to wait long a few minutes later our order was ready. I immediately paid with my contactles debit card.

We wanted to immediately enjoy the kebab but suddenly heavy rain came, making us have to immediately run to find shelter around the location. The rain lasted quite a long time and finally we decided to buy an umbrella to go to our next destination.
Because we were busy traveling to our other destinations we almost forgot to enjoy the kebabs we had bought, but after we remembered we immediately opened the kebabs we bought and enjoyed them while walking.
Overall the kebabs are large and thick, the meat inside is also very dense meaning they are not stingy with the meat. The spices inside were just right, not too salty and not too sweet. The vegetable filling was not too overwhelming, and the aroma of the meat was still fragrant and delicious.
My wife and I ate this kebab together, eating only half of it made our stomachs immediately feel very full because of the dense contents. Thus my post this time if one day you visit Malaysia, this Damascus kebab in my opinion is highly recommended for you to enjoy.

Thus this article, hopefully useful and inspiring all who read it. Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to comment.
