Lhokseumawe Primary Tax Service Office
On this occasion, I had the opportunity to visit the Lhokseumawe City Primary Tax Service Tax Office. This visit was made because I experienced some problems when trying to report the Annual Income Tax Return (Annual Tax Return) through the online tax reporting site. Therefore, I decided to come directly to the tax office to solve the problem and let's review this place.

Upon arriving at the tax office, I immediately noticed the three-story building dominated by blue and yellow colors. These colors are typical symbols of the Ministry of Finance. Although the building design seems simple, the color combination gives the office a strong identity.
In the front yard, there is a large parking area, capable of accommodating dozens of cars. A parking area for two-wheeled vehicles is also provided at the right corner of the office, making it easier for visitors to find a parking space.
Atmosphere from inside the office
After entering the room, I saw the slogan "You are entering the integrity zone, clean and serving bureaucracy area" displayed in front of the door. This shows the tax office's commitment to providing better public services.
The atmosphere inside the office was quite quiet, probably because my visit coincided with Friday. Inside, there are four counters ready to serve visitors. The interior of the office is dominated by white, yellow, and blue colors, creating an attractive atmosphere, again trying to show the identity of their office.
The service process at the tax office is similar to that at a bank. Visitors are required to take a queue number that can be printed through the available system. However, for tax return reporting, visitors are directed to the third floor, where there is a special hall to handle annual tax return reporting issues.
While heading to the third floor, I also noticed slogans about the service standards and code of ethics of the Directorate General of Taxes' employees plastered on every step of the stairs.

In various corners of the room, there were brochures and information on the rejection of gratuities, as well as awards received by the tax office, such as the integrity zone award and the clean and serving bureaucratic area.
Good service
After going up to the third floor, I reported some complaints that I faced while trying to report the Annual Tax Return. The officers there were very responsive and professional. They asked me to sit down and explain the problem I was facing, then processed it immediately. Thanks to their help, I was finally able to resolve the issues in the system and report my Annual Tax Return.
Overall, I was satisfied with the service provided by the tax office staff. They were responsive and professional. However, I also saw many people in the hall on the third floor who had difficulties in filing their tax returns. This is natural considering that the current tax reporting system is quite complicated. I hope the government can simplify the tax reporting system to make it easier for people to fulfill their obligations.
Concerns Regarding Data Security
Although I am satisfied with the service provided by the tax office staff, I am concerned about data leakage and information confidentiality. I often receive calls from unfamiliar numbers claiming to be tax office officials.
In fact, it is all a modus operandi of fraudsters who can drain the entire balance in the victim's account. Luckily, I have read the news about this kind of scam, so I am more careful. However, I still wonder how my personal data could reach irresponsible parties.
Overall, I think Lhokseumawe Tax Office has provided good and professional services. The atmosphere in the office is quite modern and comfortable, with symbolic colors of blue and yellow dominating. Despite some concerns regarding data security, my experience at this tax office was satisfactory.
