Welcome to campus, as I will be your tour guide around the school. The University of Uyo is a massive campus offering a lot of courses that you would love to get into, to get that dream job.

If you require a school in the state, I highly recommend this school because of the standards they have set and they have also produced a good number of outstanding students over the years.

Entry

This institution is widely known, it is a known school, so at any point you're standing in the city, once you call the name *** University of Uyo *** to a driver, you'll be taken straight to the school gate

_{Bus Shuttles}

While at the school gate, it is just a kilometer or so to the school buildings, so you'll need to pay your way in, you can still exercise your body a bit and walk up the road to access the school facilities. At the school gate, you can see tricycles or shuttles parked there and ready to convey people inside. It is a flat price of N100 in Naira and 0.5 Steems at the current price.

Alight at the faculty of science building, it is all easy because they're popular places in the school, just let the driver know as you get in. You'll be dropped off at the college.

To know you're in the right place, you'll see this banner in the school as you're getting in with your vehicle. This banner shows the mission, vision, and core values of the school, and the school name is boldly written on it.

You will alight here, in the faculty of Biological Science, as a good traveler, you won't have any issues while touring this school or trying to get to this location because the roads and buildings are carefully marked and there are directions all over.

As you can see from the Board, this is the faculty of Biological Science with the list of courses they offer. The school is not just limited to the faculty alone, they're are others like the Faculty of Engineering, Law, Agriculture, Art, and Environmental studies.

_Entrance

This building has contributed a lot to making the Institution proud. Your entry to any building block in the institution looks like a completely different world, the Energy, the atmosphere, and all. You will see very serious students, running to meet up with lectures, moving in groups to other lecture centers. The passion felt in the institution is something else, everyone is going for that win.

FACILITIES and SERVICES Offered

Lecture Halls and classrooms

Most of the classrooms in the school are up to standard, very comfy and you could see how arranged and serene the classroom looks. The table looks smooth and I was able to make a good drawing on my drawing paper. One of the things I love about the facilities is the lecture halls and classrooms.

The numbers are also considered, as the school has different lecture halls with numerous capacities, like the 1000 capacity, 350, 650, 800, and so on for different lectures and programmes

Event Centre

Just beside the Faculty of Biological Science, you'll find the School Event Centre. I once had a crypto hangout to attend, it was from Coinex for the students in Uniuyo, the event Centre was the location for this. It is spacious and has a good ventilation system. Dinner nights by students are hosted here, and you won't even recognize this place because of how beautiful it looks after the decorations.

Science Market

Just opposite the Faculty of Science, you will find the Science market, which hosts most things you would need as a student. As you cross over, you will see photographers rushing to get to you; don't be scared. They just want you to patronize. This market offers a lot of services like;

Printing, Typing, and Photocopying
Laminating of works and files
Taking of passport Photograph
Paying of school fees and Dues

It doesn't end there, they sell almost everything you would need as a student, Files, books, pens, pencils, erasers, graph books and sheets, A4, foolscap...etc. We forgot about food, any kind of food you would love to eat, as a fact that it will be patronized, it can be prepared. There are lots of kitchens and bars in the market. The deeper you look, the more services you see that they can offer.

Workshops and laboratories

This institution has a lot of laboratories, from science to Engineering. They don't stop at the Theory aspect of teaching, they go into the practical aspects. We were given this task to produce an adjustable relaxing chair, which we delivered perfectly.

The school gives a real-time opportunity for students to see what the real world of their field looks like.

The Breeding House

You can get to see some of these animals, like the crocodile, and so on. This wonderful service is offered by the Faculty of Science. Many people have been studying the behaviors of some organisms, plants, or animals with books or videos, but haven't gotten the chance to have the physical experience. This school offers you that experience.

A Fuel Station

If you're out of gas, you have nothing to worry about, because the school has a Fuel station for you to recharge. This fuel station has served a lot of vehicles entering and leaving the school as well as the community at large. It is a very good spot to refuel because of their meter reading, which is mostly accurate.

Sporting Facilities

All Learning without extracurricular activities makes Jack a dull boy; the necessary sporting Facilities are available. Based on sports, the major services the school offers are;

Table tennis

Programs Held

The school offers a lot of programs, most of which I wasn't able to attend because of my schedule. Some of these programs are.

Music presentation by the Music department
Arts/ movie presentation by the theatre art department
Arts Exhibition by the Industrial and Fine Arts
Entrepreneurship and safety programs for students

There are lots of programs held, and these are done once or twice each semester, so you just have to pin their tab to get the notice of programs and dates.

Convocation/Graduation ceremony

I was able to attend the convocation ceremony of the graduates. It was a joyous moment for them and their families. The people in their numbers were very large, the school has a spacious environment to contain millions of people as they come to celebrate with friends and families.

Matriculation Ceremony

For the undergraduates who made their way to school, every year, a day is set aside to welcome them officially into school. This programme usually has dignitaries like the vice chancellor and members of the government. The people in their numbers come to celebrate their friends.

The school Atmosphere

Serene, comfortable, green, and environmentally friendly, you could sit anywhere and read your books to your understanding without getting many distractions. The school is tidied every day, during and after school hours to make it comfortable for the students, staff, and visitors. The atmosphere and environment are very hygienic.
