I hope this post finds you well and full of smiles today. It’s always a great joy to share a piece of my daily life with you here on Steemit. Life sometimes keeps us busy, but little moments of reflection, learning, and fun always remind us of the beauty of everyday living. Today, I want to take you along with me on a small but meaningful visit I made to my office — the very place where I first learnt desktop publishing and graphic design.

📖 My Return to the Office

It has been quite a long time since I last stepped into my training office. This was the place where I first sharpened my skills in desktop publishing and later went on to explore the creative world of graphic design. Over time, I became so deeply engaged with design apps that I almost forgot about some of the essential software I learned earlier — like Microsoft Excel.

So, I decided to go back for a short refreshing session. It wasn’t so much about heavy practice, but more about reconnecting with that learning environment and refreshing some old memories. Walking into the office again gave me a sense of nostalgia, almost like revisiting an old friend.

🖼️ Snapping a Few Pictures

Since most of the students who usually fill the hall were secondary school students — and now that schools have resumed — the hall was empty. I found myself alone in the quiet space. Instead of snapping pictures of Excel sheets or design apps, I thought it would be better to capture the atmosphere of the place.

I took a photo from the window, and from there, the outside world looked so lively. You could see how busy the road was, people going about their activities, vehicles moving up and down, and the beautiful character of Aba city showing itself. Many people often talk about Aba only in terms of trade and business, but I want to remind us that Aba is also a beautiful place with its own charm.

🎬 A Little Entertainment

After spending some time, I decided to switch things up and powered on another system. Instead of working further, I gave myself a break and watched a movie. The video was titled Blind Date, and it featured Sonia Uche, Chinenye Nnebe, and Bryan Okwara.

The film was packed with love, suspense, and so much emotional drama that I found myself fully immersed. It’s been a long time since I enjoyed a Nollywood movie in such a relaxed mood, and honestly, it added more happiness to my day. Sometimes, the little things — like watching a film in a familiar place — can bring so much joy.

🌈 My Takeaway from the Visit

Spending this time back in the office made me realize something: no matter how far we go in life, it is always refreshing to reconnect with our roots. Whether it’s revisiting an old learning ground, reconnecting with past memories, or simply enjoying a quiet moment away from the rush of daily life, such experiences remind us of how far we’ve come.

This visit wasn’t just about Excel, nor about design, nor even the movie. It was about reminding myself that growth is not just moving forward — it’s also about appreciating where we started.
