RE: The last message before the phone died...

in Freewriters9 days ago

It is strange how we forgot about a life without a phone (I haven't). I also learned no longer to wait for a message. I leave and continue with my life. I never take my phone with me if I go out and if I sleep I switch it off. Those who know me, also know how to reach me and that I will answer as soon as I can (and want). The phone if for my convenience not to be bothered by day and night.

That's a bold step, and your determination is quite strong.
This generation has been schooled to keep their phones close, they can barely stay away from their phone for a short time. You even see people make use of their phones while charging it, no break at all.
Just like you, if we turn to keep our minds outside the dependence on these gadgets, maybe we will breathe easy.
