Indeed. Pick some words or lines out of an average book and you are ready to write.

You still didn't come to freewriting? Just write about what pops up in your mind and see if you can weave the prompt in it. Pondering about what to write is no freewriting.

    You are right when it comes to freewriting. It could be about anything that pops it to mind. But, I guess we have different opinions when it comes to writing in general.
