It sounds to me that you used today's prompt scaring and the Sunday prompt two strangers.
Is it a Halloween story, are those two men ghosts?
I felt Akbar's fear and as he stopped for the hitchhikers I thought: don't!
I don't think it's safe to take two strangers along at night. I still give hitchhikers a ride but not if dark or at night. It's better to be careful
I wonder why grandmother warned and for what? And why is it that both go to the city, It feels as if the two strangers didn't harm Akbar nor his grandmother.

Applause for your worthy comments.Yes I am agree with you that Akbar should not give lift to the hitchhiker at nightespecially on midnight . As you have asked that why did Grandmother not warn Akbar about the enchanted route ?
Actually Akbar wanted to give her a surprise he didn't tell her about his arrival at Granny's house .and they were afraid of the strangers(Supernaturalbeings)because they knew their reality , So that they both went to the city.

Thank you for replying and explaining. It's a good think grandmother didn't know Akbar was on his way otherwise she would have been worried to death.
Let's hope Akbar learned a lesson and on the day they go back granny's home isn't robbed by thieves.
