Saludos, escritores, realicé una investigación personal sobre el Limerick. Por lo que pude entender, tienden a construirse con versos cortos y principalmente están dirigidos a provocar humor. La rima en sí es importante; deben rimar los versos 1, 2 y 5, y se acostumbra que el 3.º y 4.º también lo hagan. También que los versos tienden a ser cortos.
Con relación al título, parece que no se acostumbra. Decidí ponerle uno que los venezolanos pudiesen entender, pues ocultan las siglas de un famoso contador venezolano.
La traducción al inglés, creo si va con fallas en la rima. Utilicé Google Traductor y al menos los primeros tres versos me sonaron bien.
Ha sido fantástico este curso, vine a escribir y aprendí machismo. Gracias.

Greetings, writers, I did some personal research on Limerick. From what I could understand, they tend to be built with short verses and are mainly aimed at provoking humor. The rhyme itself is important; verses 1, 2 and 5 must rhyme, and it is customary for the 3rd and 4th to do so as well. Also, the verses tend to be short.
The translation into English, I think, does have flaws in the rhyme. I used Google Translate and at least the first three verses sounded good to me.
Regarding the title, it seems that it is not customary. I decided to put one that Venezuelans could understand, since it hides the initials of a famous Venezuelan accountant.
This course has been fantastic, I came to write and I learned machismo. Thank you.

Vaya que como venezolanos sabemos contar votos, pero no sabemos contar son las mil y una trampas en los procesos electorales.

Poetry: Limerick
Remark: Muy ingenioso poema, como dices, el titulo claramente contiene las siglas de la organismo que todos conocemos. La traducción también creo que esta bien, aunque como has dicho quizá no cumpla con la métrica, pero es un buen esfuerzo.
Jaja. El contador que contaba, se volvió un restador, y también un perdedor, pero eso no importaba, ganador es ganador, Amoroso replicaba, jajaja.
Amigo, disfruté este taller. De verdad, una grata experiencia fue.
Remark: Indeed the English version has 'flaws' but with a bit puzzling that can be fixed.
A second wewrite? I was too busy to keep an eye on the moment when to send the application. There's plenty to write, try and improve and to those who likes it they can continue and find their niche.
The freewriters are there and I will start #outofthebox again so we can continue the fun.
