There's always progress even if you rate yourself 10, theres 10+ or 10* and it sounds to me that no matter what you will improve, change, edit. Tome you are a 10 also because you say you are proud of what you wrote. 👍
If you put it in this perspective then you are probably right. I thought we were stopping hard at 10.
