RE: Just a little bit of blue R1.4
Sorry to get back to the subject... You don't realise the scope of the work I'm doing here, yet, and I'm not giving any spoilers, but, I can tell you about my method of creation without damaging the future interest for any reader that wants to follow A little bit of blue.
(As an author's note, I also point out that I did give deep thinking of what kind of changes there may come in the evolution of religions and the confrontation of civilizations, including the epistemological ruptures that may arise from a global scale destructive event and further considerations about what social structures have the strength to survive global chaos. You can see, here, that a female hero is leading a (post-apocalyptic) muslim community, which is, in itself, a paradigm shift. You should consider such story traits when reading this type of a story.)
Regarding my method: I work with images, as that is the way my brain processes language. In this eidetic process, I have schematized a full universe and got that schema on paper, as a simplified diagram, so I can re-structure this world, in my mind, whenever I write.
Then, I noted a dozen or so predictions of what would arise in case a nuclear war started next week and imagined a basic storylline, out of the infinite number I could develop on that universe.
Then, In the spirit of freewriting, I am populating this world in short, ten to twenty minutes writing sessions, only attaining myself to the rules of this universe I have set in my mind. Also, I have made sort of a free schematics of the characters arches to guide myself in their development. And, writing goes as the moment's flair, or inspiration dictates. Before publishing, I only recheck if I am following the universe's rules and if I am not deviating from the character's arch in a great extent, and correct as needed.
I believe this will allow me to achieve a very organic story in an interesting, coherent universe, that really has no need to have any relation with our actual reality. (It is a product of imagination, after all...). If it doesn't, at least I'll be left with a few cool self sustaining stories. :))))
This is in no way contradictory with your idea that Religion is in the end of days... Which I kind of agree with, if we are talking about so called Western religions. It just means that in this universe I created, religion is one of the features. And... A few will show up. :)))))
Thanks for the comments, @wakeupkitty ! :)
In the end, we'll have found out if it is possible to freewrite an entire novel. :D)))))
I already thought you work like that and the hashtag #worldbuilding could be used by you. I am not sure if they are still on Steemit. Therevare webnovels and the Freewriters wrote novels while using the daily prompt. They joined the, by now wotld famous) writing movement #nanowrimo for several years.
It's about 2500 words per day. I did it with my phone.

Yes. I knew about nanowrimo, recently, as well as about reedsy and some other out of google and I chose steemit as a nest for my writing, for a number of reasons. Also, I don't feel like I have time for two simultaneous platforms at the moment, and writing a novel isn't my specific objective. For the moment, I'm feeling good around here, as I can explore diverse writing themes without any particular compromise. :) Thanks for the suggestion and your comment. :))
nanowrimo is more like writing a novel, setting a timer, upload if you like and other writers can advice you I wouldn't call that investing time in a platform but investing in yourself as a writer.
Steemit is more like social media.
With Reedsy it's possible to win writer's competitions although you have to pay for your entry.
