It's a common thing for villages and societies to find a black sheep and the "foreigners" are the best victims. Reasons are not needed but can and will always be found or made up. Gossip is a very strong tool and the drive is in most cases envy combined with a rotten brain or limited brain, the in capability to look further than they own tunnel vision.
Many are slandered for over 20 years or longer and I have no respect for those saying: I never believed one word and didn't stand up and raised their voices.
No one remembers? That is a bad thing since if they (pretend) to forget they don't care about the harm they caused and will repeat their acts!

Mereka akan pura-pura lupa untuk membersihkan namanya sendiri tapi tidak dengan saya karena setiap yang dilakukan terhadapnya saya pasti akan saya ingat sampai kapanpun walaupun sudah saya maafkan namun melupakan itu adalah hal yang tidak mudah saya lakukan, saya harus berdamai dengan hati untuk mengambilkan sebuah keputusan dalam memaafkan saja, sakit yang mereka torehkan belum sembuh di hati, menjauh adalah langkah terbaik buat saya, ketika penyesalan mereka timbul karena kehilangan saya,itu sudah tidak berarti lagi buat saya 🤦
