In this lonely and persecuted place
I feel your presence is still there
Buried deep inside the emotions that I can't hide
My breath catches in my throat
Feeling the traces of your tight grip
I drift without your warmth
Not easily lost from my memory
Your eyes, soft and bright
Flickering like distant stars
Your shadow goes in and out
I embrace the echo of its touch
Eyes closed, heart murmuring
Bringing me to a world of mirages
As if a soul accompanies
Lifted by pure air
Refracting hope lured by the light of falsehood
Don't wake me from this dream

La voz lírica nos sumerge en sentimientos relacionados con deseos e imposibilidades para alcanzarlos. ¿Se trata de un amor no correspondido o de un amor en solitario?
Ambos son terribles. Y hay una especie de "masoquismo" que se hace evidente en los últimos versos: ¿Realmente te quieres morir de amor? ¿Es eso posible? jeje.
Disculpa mi risa. NO sé cuántos años tienes, pero así pensaba cuando tenía 17. Ahora me río, quizás porque tengo 51, y porque sentí morirme de amor muchas veces. Por fortuna, esto nunca se dio, jajaja.

What a beautiful poem, a thought of love in the midst of the abyss that accompanies the protagonist, life can be hard and yes, be full of falsehood, it is what abounds but we always have that pillar, that reason for being and doing.
