Get to know Steem Pong
A new game called Steem Pong has arrived on Steem Retrogames, I was curious and immediately wanted to try. I entered the free mode first to practice and get to know the rules of the game. Oh it turns out this is simpler, but high focus and concentration needs to be maintained. The cyan blue ball is the target, don't let it out of reach, 10 lives will be reduced one by one. If you can hit the Steem ball, you get 4 points, the Italian flag ball gets 6 points and the clock ball gets 6 points, but wait, watch out for the dollar ball, hitting it will speed up the ball and will be more troublesome. It's time to buy tokens, to make it more challenging, more adrenaline rush, but you have to stay calm and not let your guard down, one blink of an eye might be a mistake.
Unfortunately, for the first game, my score was not recorded (why does this happen so often @girolamomarotta?), so I closed the game and bought tokens again to re-enter the game table, the result in the first time playing Steem Pong I got a score of 579.
Is this a good start? I don't know. How about your score @hendryclive @alexanderkass?
Thank you for the invitation, but Pong is not really my game. I can get knocked down easily. DO you have something else? Something like the old Minesweeper, maybe? 😃

I don't have enough understanding of Minesweeper, what if a simpler one? Maybe Tetris?
Oh yeah, how about Ludo? I used to play it a lot, especially during this fasting month. There are some other games too that are played with dice, monopoly, snakes and ladders, or halma. Which one do you like more?
We talked about games a lot in Talkchannel in the past 4 weeks. Also we asked around what people would like to play in Monkey Business in @steembetterlife and the results (worries included) can be foud back in ᔕᑕᗷ ᗰOᑎKEY ᗷᑌᔕIᑎEᔕᔕ.
Simple is Space Invasion if it could be played by everyone and the issues would be solved. But it isn't if the game stops and you have to play it on a laptop with your screen at 80%! and it jumping upwards everytime you shoot.
All sorts of great, easy to realise games are suggested which are popular online and where crypto or tokens can be earned (and spend).
All the reviews written? Let's say it's in vain I still have one not posted and it's still up to date after these weeks.

But the game? I had a look at it twice and it didn't make me happy and the play time was short. Way too short to make me want to pay for it. If I cannot even play 5 minutes or have time to figure it out my interest is gone. I might try it again but it's not my first choice if it comes to spending my free time, games, finding distraction or relaxing.
I rather do Ludo (it's called with us: Men Don't Be Annoyed!), prefer Tetris, Sudoku, wordgames, Patience, Mario, Duckhunt, Wolfenstein, a treasure, mine sweeper, PACman, a POU (tamagotchi) above this.
The main problem of this game is again it looks terrible on the screen, if internet, pc or keyboard or whatever don't work for you there's no fun (a plus is no addiction either).
Your grade is a 10 right?

In Steem Pong, the duration of the game is very much determined by our focus to keep reaching the ball that keeps bouncing, how long can we maintain 10 lives? and the most important thing in my opinion is the need to keep the ball calm.
I've also asked @aneukpineung about Ludo, but maybe he doesn't really like it, it seems like chess is more of an option for him. Oh Mario I like that too, I love it when I jump on a turtle and kick it and keep following it for other enemies ahead, sometimes I forget there's a barrier ahead so the turtle shell bounces back hitting the Mario.
If that's what you think, then I have to accept, I'm not good at grading myself. And I'm glad to get that clover and heart again. What does that mean?

How can one keep the ball calm? If you ask me this is based on a dose of luck and if the keyboard responds if you click since the Hungarian flag like my kid calls it, and the rest are never at the same places.
@aneukpineung78 did how about Ludo? Do you play chess or Monopoly or Stratego? I love that game. It's with an army and bombs.

Calming the ball means controlling the bounce to keep it straight ahead, although this may not always be the case, especially if the ball is moving fast, the theory is to try to hold the ball right in the center of the holder, which I've demonstrated in my post.
I have to satisfy myself before posting, at least I read it again up to 3 times, and correct if there are words that don't feel right.
So I'm not very good at writing with time constraints. Is this a weakness?
Hi! Scoring 579 is definitely a solid start! I think mine was about 500 lower. 😅 I prefer Steem Pong over Space Invasion and would gladly spend some Steem for the fun - especially if it means outscoring @alexanderkass every time🤪
I, too, have this problem often. It can be a bit frustrating but you can report it to them via discord, they'll manually record your score. What I usually do in this case (although not necessary) is to refresh the page before you buy tokens - I haven't had the problem ever since...
Yeah me too, Steem Pong is more of a test of composure, unlike the busy Space Invasion 😅.

I had put in place an automatic score recovery system, if after an hour the score is still 0 point it out on our discord.
As of the time I am writing this comment, I have played with Tokens in Steem Pong 7 times, and what I know is that my score was recorded as “0” 3 times, has it been recovered? Where can I see it? Surely it will be an important point for me in terms of ranking in the Steem Retro Cup.
The only score I can show you is the one in the Last 10 Prizes table, how lucky I am to be rewarded with 11 Steem for that score, I must say thank you very much.

Thank goodness for that, it really does affect the spirit of the game, when achieving high scores but not being recorded, it feels like everything is in vain. But there is always luck, thanks for the 11 Steems.
