The praying mantis devours the male to obtain its nutrients, that's what I know about the subject. I can say that the male acts like those ALPHA males, who see a woman and want to have relations, but sometimes they contract diseases, and all kinds of problems, as they say, any resemblance to reality is just coincidence. I liked this post too, in fact I like the way you write, it's nice, some writings have that subtle touch of black humor hahaha
