RE: Neurons Unexpectedly Encode Information in the Timing of Their Firing - Quanta Magazine
The article is a good read. I learned a lot of new ideologies. I have been into rapid learning for a while, especially after I came across Scott's journey of completing the MIT 4 years CS program in just one year.
Speaking of rapid learning, I came across this today: 11-year-old graduate announces plans to achieve immortality by 'replacing body parts with mechanical parts'. Apparently, the record for the youngest college graduate is 10.
I wasn't familiar with Scott Young, so thanks for the tip! That's pretty impressive, too.
The achievement of the 11-years old is admirable, but I think such people usually have a difficult time socializing.
