It is a common debate whether Android or iPhone is better. I personally always prefer Andriod and there are a few reasons behind it. Android offers more freedom, better customization, and a wider range of choices rather than the iPhone. The biggest advantage of Android is we can find various kinds of brands and models according to our requirements. For every budget, Android provides something for every phone. Many brands like - Samsung, Xiaomi, Vivo, OnePlus, Huawei, Realme, and Google have invited many Android phones. On the other hand, the iPhone has only a few models and those are very expensive, which is beyond the limit of the middle class.
Android users easily can download apps from different sources not only just the Google Play Store. If the required app is not in the store then we can easily download it from the internet. But on iPhones, we can only install apps from the App Store, which makes it an obstacle to use freely.
The hardware of the Android phones is available and we can get those at a lower price. Whereas the hardware of iPhones price is highest and sometimes it is not available in the market.
Sharing files from Android to phones and computers is simple and easy. For transferring any files we can use Bluetooth, USB, or even third-party apps like Share It or Xender. Besides iPhones make file sharing very difficult and we often need to use AirDrop, which only works with Apple devices.
Android allows us to add a microSD card to increase storage which helps to keep many important documents of us easily. In contrast, iPhones do not have this feature of excess storage. If we need to upgrade the storage we have to buy a more expensive model.
Android brands every day introduce us to new technology faster than iPhones. Android brands always try to offer the latest technology like 120Hz displays, periscope zoom cameras, and foldable screens, whereas Apple takes too much time to bring new features
Being a personal user of Android and iPhones I shared my own experiences. For these mentioned features I always prefer Android. Using Android I get freedom, better hardware support, and innovative features along with a reasonable price.
I would like to invite some of my Steemian fellows - @sadaf02, @m-princess, and @paholags to share their thoughts on choosing between Android or iPhone.
