RE: Contest:"Tell your story #55"
With the presence of consumer protection rights, you'd think that there will be improved health care policies. However, each day, we wake up to a new breaking news. Flood. Water pollution. Substandard products.
I just shared a post on the rise of counterfeit medicines.
Who would imagine that we would be talking about the need to prioritise health care in the 21st century?
For ordinary people we should try not to soil water with anything ourselves.
We, as a people, have a huge role to play in safeguarding and protecting our health. It starts with the proper disposal of waste, confirming the authenticity of what we consume, and so on.
