The Nigerian Cybercrime Act, 2015 currently penalises blackmail, harassment or "dragging" online. Anyone who breaches this law may end up spending close to 10 years in prison if the case is taken up in court.

While I understand that a secret ceases to be a secret once spilled into the ears of another, I also recognise that you should never give internet fraudsters a chance to mess up with your peace and reputation.
