I hope you are all well. Today I am going to share with you about the first day of my new dispensing training. I have been very busy the past few days and have not been able to post for two weeks.

My dispensing training started on the 3rd and that day was the day I had been waiting for for a long while. On the first day, we were told to come with our parents and that day everyone came with their parents.

There are 81 students in our batch, most of whom are girls. Our course is held at the National Institute of Health Science ( NIHS ), Kalutara. We all have to come to the institute 5 days in a week and engage in learning activities and no student can be absent.

On the first day, the 3rd of this month, a welcoming ceremony was held for us and our teachers and office staff had also organized a treat for us and our parents. First, there was a lecture in the main hall for about two hours and several people including the Director of the institute addressed us. The pictures below show some of the people who addressed us that day.

First, before the ceremony began, the invited guests performed a religious ritual of lighting coconut oil lamps.
