What is a talent?

A talent is a kind of natural ability or skill that can set an individual apart from others. In many instances, talent is when we make positive use of our quirks or imperfections.
Talent emerges when we find a way to leverage on, embrace or hone our unique characteristics or quirks such that it helps us outmatch others in a particular area.

Talent can manifest in various forms, such as:

Artistic talent:
Playing musical instruments, dancing and moving in ways others can't replicate or painting masterpieces due to good hand-eye coordination.

Athletic talent:
Running at a "Usen Bolt" speed, with great acceleration or flexibility that springs one up during a high jump.

Intellectual talent:
Intellectual prowess that aids problem-solving and critical thinking.

Creative talent:
Active-unrestricted imagination that can produce unparalleled works of fiction expressed in ways that feel tangible and easy to relate to.

Talent can be nurtured and developed through practice, dedication, and passion.

Do you have any talents, which ones, and why do you love them so much?

Ability to easily assimilate new technical facts and quickly figure out how stuff works while analysing and extrapolating events. I can control my drive for perfection when accomplishing a task.

Critical thinking helps me analyse situations, extrapolate the succession of events and forecast possible outcomes. It is an important survival skill for people who live in Nigeria. A lack of this skill in sufficient measure will mean being swindled over and over.
The protective nature of this skill is the reason why I love it so much. Working hand in hand with the ability to understand how stuff works makes it easy to see how different ruse elements are interwoven in a ploy, unmasking their true nature and intention. You can call it healthy scepticism.

From your experience, what benefits and advantages does your talent offer you?

Living within a pack of intelligent people who have spent all their lives trying to outsmart their surroundings. To survive, we need the ability to quickly analyse situations and offers to avoid being swindled or taken advantage of. Developing critical thinking and being street-smart is essential for thriving in such a community.
With this skill, I don't easily get carried away by appealing offers from scammers. Protecting the little income I make.

If you could share your talent with someone who has the same passion for what you do, how would you do it?

While managing the progress of work at construction sites, I prompt workers to put in more effort in getting a perfect finishing. Bringing out the best out of workers with the aim of satisfying the client with excellent work.
Working with people is the smartest way to transmit transferable talent. It takes some time to transfer knowledge, skill and passion.
