My Journey as a Makeup Artist

I invested 45 thousand to learn the art of makeup, and it was short every penny . Over the past 6 months, I've learned so much about different techniques, products, and how to work with various skin types. I've had the opportunity to work with clients and help them feel confident and beautiful in their own skin.

A Sweet and Unique Experiences

One of my most memorable experiences as a makeup artist was when I worked with a bride on her wedding day. She wanted a natural, elegant and simple look that would enhance her features without looking too done up. I worked my magic and the result was stunning. She loved it, looked and felt like a queen in her special day. Moments like these make all the hard work worth it.

Tips for Common Makeup Mistakes

One common mistake is over blending, which can lead to a cakey finish. To avoid this , I use light, gentle strokes and build coverage gradually.

Another mistake is not matching foundation to skin tone. To get it right, I rest shades in the jawline and choose the one that disappears into the skin.
Favorite Makeup products
I'm obsessed with classic foundation, it's offers great and smooth coverage and lasts all day.
For eyeshadows, I love the African Queen palette. The shades are so pigmented and versatile.

Working With Different Skin Types And Tones

As a makeup artist, I've learned that understanding different skin types and tones ins crucial. For dry skin, I recommend moisturizing products and avoiding heavy foundation. For oily skin, I suggest using oil control products and setting powder. When working with darker skin tones, I focus on finding the right shades of foundation and concealer to enhance their natural beauty.

I've had the opportunity to work with clients with various skin concerns, such as acne, hyperpigmentation, and sensitivity. By understanding their skin types and concerns, I can tailor my techniques and product recommendations to achieve the best results.

Conclusion

Makeup is more than just a passion of mine. It's a way of life. I'm grateful for the opportunity to share my love for makeup with others and help them feel confident and beautiful in their own skin. Whether it's for everyday wear or a special occasion, makeup has the power to transform and empower. I'm excited to continue learning and growing as a makeup artist, and I hope you've enjoyed those glimpse into the journey.
